We were all working late in the Gaschat office one evening. Ras pops open his filing cabinet and starts handing round vodka and bottles of babycham.

We sent Fanboy out to get kebabs because it was becoming clear that RD can't hold his sauce.

Anyway, he started rambling incoherently. All we could make out through his thick Portuguese accent was that he had....needs. with bears.

Needless to say, we all decided it was best if we all got dressed and never speak of it again.

So what time will the fixtures be published? I am getting a little impatient and keep checking the phone.......

Basically, on the old OF, there was a poster called Stapletongas.

He was moaning about people misquoting him and putting words in his mouth. So, for a laugh, I quoted his post but changed what he had wrote to "I once made love to a bear".

He was absolutely furious about it and started questioning my morals and saying I was rude and how I must be a massive low life to say something like that without even knowing him.

I think a few (might have been our very own gregsgas) got the ironic joke, but Stapletongas certainly didn't. Needless to say I think there may have been some truth said in jest as he certainly got touchy about it.

Ergo, I actually think Stapletongas may have made love to a bear.

3.20pm.Only just picked this up.PLEASE KP dont be all gloom and doom!

They just left. We had to go to other teams websites to get some of the fixtures and then they came up on our site around 20 minutes after everyone else.
I was not doom and gloom. I says how loyal a bunch we were and that all we wanted were 11 players who show commitment to the shirt rather than journeymen who were with us for a pay check.
They asked me about expectation and I said play offs at least and that I thought we should be genuinely looking at promotion if we can hold onto the back five we have now. I said we have to take every game seriously and be ready for a high tempo and more physical game.
They asked about the crowds I expected and I said that if we get a decent start then I see no reason why we would not get 5000 as a base , I mentioned the faithful five thousand at Twerton. I mentioned ST sales had held up given relegation.
I was not given a chance to mention the forum . Someone had definitely put the kybosh on that. They really looked a little nervous about the mention of our forum.
I ended saying that if we get a team that give us their all that we would give them our all as we are some of the most loyal fans in the country.
I hope I don't sound too much of a gimboid when it airs. He could not be specific on when it would go out but will know when he gets back to the studio. I'll let you guys know as soon as I find out. The reporters name is Damian Derrick
