Several top officials have been arrested on corruption charges in Switzerland. They are to be extradited to the USA. Whats the bets Blatter isn't one of 'em.

About time something was done about this disgraceful organization. It's been widely accepted for years that they are corrupt. Be interesting to see if they come up with the truth about the Qatar world cup decision although I won't hold my breath.

Vice president is one of them. Allegations said to involve $100M Remember when Blatter said he wasn't avoiding the US in case he gets arrested...

Blatter isn't one of them...FFS! The people at the top can sometimes be difficult to implicate. They usually 'cover their arse'. Don't forget, Al Capone was eventually banged up only for Tax Evasion ! Hopefully, once a bit of pressure is applied to those arrested, one or more start to talk..................then anything can happen.

I see Jack Warner has been nicked; remember when we attempted to sign Nigel Pierre from Joe Public (The team Warner owned at the time) and it turned out the Trinidadian FA (Chairman Jack Warner) had falsified the number of internationals he had played meaning we couldn't get a work permit.

Make no mistake, Blatter is one of them, regardless of whether or not he is charged.
A waste of oxygen that man. One of the most corrupt men on the planet.

This is more to do with CONCACAF, and Chuck Blazer (he's been squawking to the bobbies since he got arrested last year), I would think, than Blatter.

istm It's all about an investigation the FBI have been doing into the tax affairs of Chuck Blazer who was arrested after 20 years of corruption and debauchery as US FIFA rep and CONCACAF general secretary. Ever since he got arrested he has been spilling his guts to the FBI as part of a plea bargain I would imagine. So, it seems that this is the culmination of that investigation and Chuck is going to take down as many CONCACAF bods as he can. Kinda surprised that the Swiss authorities have been playing ball with the Americans, though. Maybe it's part of their 'cleaning up their act' that they promised, in regard to their secretive banking, etc. www.nydailynews.com/sports/soccer/soccer-rat-ex-u-s-soccer-exec-chuck-blazer-fbi-informant-article-1.1995761
