Yep. We've only got one song and most of us don't even know the words to that.

Oh really? I just went for the closest one on google maps. Got another one in mind? Never been to Salisbury in my life. The pub you suggest is very close to the ground but a harvester. Oh lol. I didn't even bother to load the page up, I just right-clicked copy shortcut. Get your bottomless salads out for the lads!

I'm gonna keep plugging this for one season lads, then I swear if you all still hate it I'll go away. Afford me that chance. :3

Initially I don't think it matters where we meet up or who against. We need a group of lads who can get on for a start..of course that doesn't matter for one offs, but if we are talking 'singing section' it's different. Like I said, we have this thread every season at least once. It rarely works out...... Our supporters are a funny bunch too, we get all noisy at 1 nil down for about 2 minutes but not at 0-0 unless we have a corner. A dedicated singing squad would be a good addition, but would need to negotiate between the reactive supporters who spring into action at obscure times and sing over the small groups that get longer songs going-like the old feds in the RH corner. I applaud you if this works out i really do, but from my experience we have too any people who do their own thing at Rovers and without being nasty they turn their noses up at others trying something. This is why we need to get a gaggle of 10-15 up for it people, so it won't matter if a few people want to turn their noses up at it.

Irene is great but should only come out just before kickoff, after a goal then in the last few minutes, regardless of result. I between should be the faster paced chants that all other teams use. It doesn't matter if it's not original, we have our anthem. Just need to get that noise generated

The title of this thread brought back bad memories of Wembley. I went temporarily deaf for two and a bit hours.

Well this lasted long! How about the Cheltenham friendly? Decent away end, boozers near the ground we could meet in beforehand, plus it's just down the road so their should be a few gas there

Obviously this isn't going to take off on the scale I'd hoped but anyone still up for a pint and some howling?

would love to hear the west stand and block 133 in a sing-off. Would be fecking close Would have loved it if the other 90% of 133 had actually joined in. Not sure whether it was nerves or what but it was hard work trying to get songs going.

To have a strong atmosphere you need a few nutters unfortunately and we keep banning them!
I've noticed over the years the people who really got the songs going were the types who have watched green street to many times and spunked half there wages on stain island gear and for the right reasons!!

They get themselves banned. Sorry to be pedantic but there is a difference.

No wonder nothing ever gets done with Rovers. Stuck in our ways.
