Have to say there has been a lot of positivity in the last few days since everyone has come and joined this forum.
These are people with a positive outlook who will tell you that is the reason they have come.
We are slightly scattered yes. Routed. But look what we can achieve when we want to. From nothing to having everyone back in one place after such a devastating blow was dealt by the board. A forum was lost yes but also friendships too. We here have all done some way to rebuild here. And if I do say so myself we have done a pretty bloody good job so far.
As far as tge FFS goes, it is clearly still shrouded in darkness and so it is to be until JTS is ready to play his hand. It is no small disaster what has happened at the hands of the board to each individual fan that made up the FFS.
That said, I have personally been overwhelmed with the wonderful spirit that has been demonstrated by my friends here. An incredible coming together against the odds. Not just on this forum but on the other forums too. Gasheads coming back in their droves to team up and help rebuild what was taken from us. This has shown true character.
I think what I am trying to say is this. We are no longer divided. We are in fact a stronger, more united fan base now. People are using various forums, discussing, debating. We as fans are for once all singing from the same hymn sheet albeit in different places. I don't think the effect of the OS closure has been a scattered and weak fan base. Not for long anyway. I think it is more connected and more vociferous than it has ever been.
They are our forums now. All of them, and we all have one voice. Best of all, we are using it.
