Where is that mate? I am all over that Bet 365. Pulis loves a set piece. Definitely worth a few quid.

That's our season f**ked then. Why do we play pre-season friendlies when all they do is give us a mystical premonition of how bad we'll be come next May?

Oh well. Means nothing in terms of next season but great to have The Mullet and Sir Rickie back at the Mem, amongst many others.

Not really sure you can make negatives from that. For me Easter looked good and Sinclair will definitely be up to the task in League 2.

Bristol Rovers lost to a near full-strength premier league team Clarke out sack the board raaaaar We missed two sitters and they only scored their first two due to a killer deflection and a slip. If we had swapped their front two for ours we would have won it. We did ok, we just can't score goals. That's my worry going into the season.

Leadbitter, Easter and Montano the stand outs for me tonight. Expect to see them start tomorrow week.[unless Pulis signs Leadbitter up for £100k on Monday] Quite impressed with Clarke the new centreback, a more than capable replacement for McCrystal. Bodin made one good run down the left but apart from that did little. Lockyer much improved all round game, his distribution definately improved since last season. As for Harrison, Gosling and Taylor, all totally at sea against their Premier league opponents and how Taylor managed to miss yet another sitter is beyond me. Was surely easier to score than miss from that position. Sinclair back to full fitness again and a real live wire but his shooting definately has not improved. As for Brown missing tonight and rumours on here about being off to Notts County. Was he not reported injured by our Manager a week or so ago?

My first look at Montano, and I was quite impressed - he's definitely got something about him. Good to see Easter looking like the player we anticipated before his injury last season. I was hoping that Lee Probert might engineer a penalty to allow us to get on the score sheet, but, sadly not. Went to the auction afterwards, which was good fun. Lambert's shirt, signed by Steven Gerrard went for around £750 - bit out of my price range unfortunately. Twentyman is a very good auctioneer, and I think most of the other shirts went for over £100. Kitey did a little speech and led us all in a chorus of Goodnight Irene. Great way to end the night.

Easter was the real positive for me tonight.
Looked sharp, held the ball up well and showed some real higher league nouse when winning us free kicks. Could have scored when montano drilled a ball across the box midway through the second half, but on the whole looked incredibly up for it.
If we can get him going like that in league two we have a real striker on our hands

On a slightly different note, Lambert is 10/3 to score over 9.5 this season. Would imagine he would be on penalties and free kicks. What site was this on? Edit: Sorry just carried on reading, bet365...
