Is the FFSC being put on the other forum aswell? think Jon has requested for someone to do this specifically and for the unofficial one too. p.s. Think hes still looking, you should get in touch with him if you're interested mate.

Ok, its get your creativity hats on time!! What are your ideas for the FFSC this coming season? I've been thinking about something different this year. I love the FFSC matches and its great that we sponsor players. We should not stop doing that. Like Simon, I was wondering if we could do something for the young ones too. I don't know how easy or practical it is to give tickets to kids these days so I wondered about closer to home. I was thinking of a FFSC "Bring a kid" day. Most of us seem to have kids, grandkids, neices and nephews. Maybe we could do some kind of family day and rock the family enclosure!? I don't know if the club could provide a party room for kids food like jam sarnies and jelly and icecream for them before the game. I realize this may not have broad appeal to all FFSC members but without the kids we won't have a club in 10yrs time. That is a great ideal UTG

Jollys away trip sounds good Perhaps Nuneaton away UTG Ok. I have contacted Lincon which is mid Sep. They can cater for a large block booking. Tickets are 16 quid a shot. I can contact Nuneaton on Monday. I have no idea how much a coach costs.

Can I ask people to pm me if they are interested so I can gauge numbers.
Depending on numbers for a coach/minibus.
Once I know roughly how many want to come I can firm up a price.
I will be ticket + transport + £s for a draw or for the win into the FFSC kitty.

I'm open to suggestions guys. I only picked Lincoln because it's between the summer and winter and they have a decent ground!

Won't be needing a coach, at this rate I can just take my car.

Mums getting married and I don't think Id live it down. This one statement has the potential to become the first legendary thread on Gaschat.

It's basics innit? Jam sarnies, ice cream, under 10s love that. Even if the footy is cr4p, that is a winner. Nice one. Oh, and it should be free, that type of fayre costs FA anyway.

( It is on a Sunday as well, so less traffic for travelling).

I can't do the Nuneaton game on Jan 4th.
Is that the away day most people would rather go to?
