Ok, so we go again....
I will call chester in the morning to see if they can do a block booking.
I will be going, and Russ makes 4.
Please let me or Jon know ASAP if you are interested in THE FFSC GRAND DAY OUT so I can get the ball rolling.

Hi Gents, I have promised the Mrs a weekend in Chester that weekend with some friends.... I will try and persuade them it will be a much better trip going with the FFSC instead. Anyone got any tips on how I may sell this to them?  |

Chester very sketchy about us being able to block book a group of seats (seems unlikely tbh). They will not take a booking until much nearer the fixture and will also be waiting on word from BRFC about how many fans are likely to travel before they decide if they will open up behind the goal so was not able to confirm what part of the ground we would be in.

Concession £12
U21 £10
U16 £3
U5 free.

I'm up for Chester. Wouldn't mind bumping into some of the ffsc on Sunday if possible? Names to face etc. will look to be much more active this year
I do like the idea of a ladies day. I can put 3 couples on that for sure.

Hello my friend, Don't get disappointed through lack of numbers, folk will only really commit to things once they have a time, date, venue, cost. You'll get plenty of support whatever match you choose, of course invariably some won't be able to make that date, that's the pitfuls of organising these things i'm afraid. Can i suggest you pick 3 - 4 games which may be suitable and hold a little vote and go from there. If you need any help with anything just ask mate. Oh god, i was gonna say "Build it and they will come". One thing i'd like to add, seeing as everyone knows i've got a big gob! - You, Ras and the GasChat team started this forum a few months ago, take up was slow and i know you've both had times when you wonder whether it's worth it, you now look down the bottom of the home page and see over 300 members! What an achievement that is guys! You went with it and slowly it has blossomed, unfortunately with plenty of hurdles along the way. You won't keep all the people happy all of the time, but you will bring together a lot of similar minded Gasheads who although have differing opinions engage in debate and a little light hearted banter about the club we all love. When the football starts again (and god please hurry up!) this place will likely double in members, and if you guys didn't start it then many great Gasheads would have been lost. Oh bugger i'm rambling again....... Anyway, I think we all agree, God on you for suggesting the idea. From little acorns.... |
