That'll be good experience for him.....If he does well there it could mean a sniff of the first team for us by Christmas.

Surprised that they have been able to get Connor Clifford. He was highly rated not long ago. With Easter, Ellis, Matty and Nate ahead of Lucas, it seems a good call to get him out there playing, although I think he could do a job for us now.

I'm surprised he hasn't been picked up by someone bigger - even by us as we were after him last season?

Hmmm, I thought Connor Clifford was meant to be the real deal. So, after all that, Barnet didn't want him and he couldn't find another league club.

Perhaps they are prepared to pay more than a league club, we know from FGR & Eastleigh last season there's some big payers in non league, didn't Woodards also join the Wood?

Bit dissapointed with this news. I thought he had the potential to break into the first team this season.

Bit dissapointed with this news. I thought he had the potential to break into the first team this season. Disagree, I think it is good for all parties. It's only a one month loan anyway! If he does that well then we could put him back in our squad after the month. He's still only 19 remember.

I know it was the conference but it's surely a bit harsh to say Ellis wasn't prolific last year. 17 goals and he only started about 10 games in all competitions.

With seven on the bench I'd have liked him around the squad this season. I agree in principal, but stepping up to conference national level and getting some solid games under his belt at a level higher than WSM is probably better for his development and thus for us in the long run than rotting on the bench as our 5th choice striker.

BW manager today:
"Jamie Lucas worked his socks off today after bringing him in from Bristol Rovers yesterday morning scored a great goal"
He won MoM as well
He looked impressive in pre-season disappointing he's gone on loan

We can see how he gets on in a league we know about, and if he scores a few bring him back.
