Does anyone actually care about this cup?

I have my ticket for Tuesday but I won't be too disappointed if we go out, as long as we aren't embarrassed. The club could obviously do with the dosh though.

I couldn't care less tbh, the league is the only thing that matters as far as I'm concerned.

I always want us to win anything. FA Trophy, FL Trophy, FL Cup, FA Cup. You name it, I'll take it. Trophies last forever. One day our cup will come.

Wembley final watched by millions, huge story, Bristol Rovers sensationally beat Arsenal/Crystal Palace/Takeyourpickwhocares... If the price is coming 13th rather than 10th, I'd take it.

Yes. A few bob for reaching the third round and a big prem tie will do!! Not even that...for example, Birmingham at home under the lights would be a virtual sell-out...possibly even on TV depending on the other ties. You actually don't have to get too far into the cups to make money, you just need to win a game or two and be lucky in the draw...

The biggest buzz ive had since supporting rovers for 10 years is probably cup games

Yeah, which do fans and players remember. The day they went to Wembley or the season they finished 9th in whatever league.

I even still remember the Watney cup with affection And that was just a pre-season warm-up for 8 teams. Such is the power of winning a cup.

Let's do a Bradford 2012-13, I'd take that. Maybe a more respectable League Cup final result, but I'm not picky...
In seriousness, a win against someone like Birmingham can do the players a real confidence boost, plus the chance of pulling a decent Prem team (say Everton, Newcastle, Villa etc.) in the second round. Past that point, not particularly bothered.
I'd perhaps prefer a bit of a run in the JPT though, oddly, I think because you play teams in and around your division, good competitive fixtures. Especially with the bye, one less game to contend with.

I'm for it. Cheap tickets for fans to make it more affordable and a decent chance of playing a decent championship or prem team. Could be a special day out for fans and players if we ended up at Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford for example.
Edit - And it's another quid for the Gas Bill for each game we win.

I care, I've got a ticket to the game and I hate seeing us lose, plus if we can get through a couple of rounds we might get a good money making game

Without it, what chance does any 3rd or 4th Division side have of ever actually winning a pot? It's not as if it's just some pre-season friendly tournament. 48 teams, Wembley final. To me, football still is about glory and cups represent that. But I may well be in a minority these days, hence the cheap entry on Tuesday, even to see Birmingham in a bigger cup.

Incidentally, it's a bit odd that Prem teams play in the FL Cup, isn't it? I can see why both leagues would want it, but it does seem cheeky.
