Don't take this too seriously but at least we haven't paid 2.1 m for Taylor,Harrison,Easter,Blissett and Bodin not to score!!!

I used to laugh about the amount paid for Nick Maynard, I can't bring myself to do it anymore.

Taylor's not a great finisher but sterling is awful. At least Tayor didn't cost us £49m!

We're paying their wages. Part of them...yes...the whole of them....well that depends on the long term finances of the club...

How much did our current squad cost? From memory we paid for Blissett and Parkes. Did anyone else warrant a transfer fee or are they all free or out of contract signings?

Cant help but be a bit jealous about the money they have... on the flipside, its funny and makes me chuckle inside that they are still f*cking sh**e, and are wasting money left right and centre. Shame its just bankrolled by a clown!

Agreed, although this also has the danger of setting a precedent for future signings, especially with the player's agent? It is a double edged sword and can be a blessing and a curse.

It is a double edged sword and can be a blessing and a curse. Hasn't their manager been moaning about the wages players want and fees clubs are looking for? I don't know how this is going to help them regarding that?

There is a quote on the local sports ceefax page from SL saying the same, bemoaning the cost of players at Championship level. Nice problem to have I suppose in that he can moan and yet afford to still sanction these signings.
