Get it on, people haven't got to look at it if they're not interested and to claim it's not Rovers related is a bit weird.

Where is he asking for predictions of final league position? You know full well how it works. Enjoy the result. Goodnight. So he's not asking for league predictions? Or he is? If so there's already a league prediction thread isn't there?

Can we all try negative thinking for Saturday? If we lose it will prove beyond any doubt Rich is on to something.

My mates on gaschat have given you an answer on this. Why so hung up about this? Our best start for years and that is much for important than me explaining a thread that has been running for four seasons now. Sleep well. You will see this differently tomorrow morning. Keep the votes coming in. Ground breaking thread might come to an end just as the team hit form.

Two games back for the legend that is Rich Hertford and two f**kin wins - Richy must stay Richy must stay Allo Allo!!!! Please don't encourage him. It really winds* me up all his management/motivational nonsense as if he is in the room with the team driving them on to greater heights, giving the impression of having a "connection", claiming the link if we win - and then when it goes wrong it's nothing to do with him! *I try not to let it, but it just grates with me I'm afraid.
Anyway the real reason we won on Saturday and tonight is because I rejoined the FFSC on Saturday just before kick off, and I've worn my lucky pants for both games (I was away on the first Saturday and forgot to pack them!).
To save my sanity - please vote NO

I think many enjoy reading the groundbreaking goal threads as a bit of fun but I'm not sure most understand what it's actually about, if it has any intended deep meaning or if its just a load of nonsense.
From the beginning I've never understood how making the fans feel positive on a forum was ever going to help the team score more goals or win more matches, so I don't look at the groundbreaking stuff as useful in that way. If it does have a deep meaning, in the sense that posting groundbreaking motivatonal stuff on here can actually affect the mood of the team, then that would be great, but it's never been explained by Rich how and why that might happen.
So for me it's just like the many other posts saying "we can do this" and "we are better than this", which is great insofar as it goes, but it's just chat on a forum and not anything meaningful.
I don't think tonight's result would have been affected in any way whatsoever if the groundbreaking thread had already been up and running.
If it had been there already, though, I would have enjoyed reading all the positive stuff and the targets we might aim for. "We" being the fans, not the team.

Get it on, people haven't got to look at it if they're not interested and to claim it's not Rovers related is a bit weird. This sums it up.
I did not go for it the first season Rich did it.
I did not even look at it last season.
I will not look at it this season.
However, as the vote shows at the moment, it seems I am in a minority.
This is a democratic site, so anything pretty much goes. It is down to individuals whether they interact or not. From my experience of the bus thread, I will choose to find my own mode of transport..........ideally a hog

Why won't you just explain what you're trying to achieve and how it's Rovers related?

So lots of debate today. Should the ground breaking goal thread return for this season? In order for us all to decide how to vote please clearly explain what we as forum members are subscribing to, what the outcomes you hope to achieve are and how we as forum members will be achieving it. You didn't do me the courtesy of properly responding on the other thread. For god sake lighten up LJG. You sound like a headmistress on the blob. Take no notice Rich

Oh for god's sake - people can contribute what they want can't they? Let Rich do his stuff.
Meanwhile - a bad start to the season has turned into a good start. Wonderful result and we could be on for back to back promotions. That's what I call ground-breaking!

Voted yes, but don't really care one way or another, it's just a bit of fun. I always remember the picture of the burnt out bus, classic !
