One things for sure whoever ends up with the mob down the road won't be their first choice and they will know that too. Also shown agents their hand now so pretty much a text book way of how not to recruit. If they offer over 5 million they can have Nathan blisset and we'll waive the add ons clause !

Desperation kicking in at trashton
Whilst they're keen to recruit more fire power I think its the other end of the pitch they should be more concerned about.
2+ goals a game they're shipping in at the moment.
Hilarious watching every player knock them back though! not as big as they think they are.

Now any player and his agent will take City to the cleaners. They know what the ball park is now. Even if they pay a lower transfer fee = higher wages and agent fees
If they're honest, the squad doesn't have the quality or depth of the top clubs in that division, its possibly even too weak to finish in the top half. Spending near £10m on a striker won't change that.
