We are a proud club and UPTG There's nothing morally superior to being positive. If stuff is happening that you think is bad for the club, then it's fair to be negative about it. What is more damaging to the club is being positive about things you think are bad. You know, this is fundamental to the human experience. Not sure why so many people can't grasp it. Forums aren't magical places where if you pretend things are going well, then things get better in real life.

What is there to be positive about? Genuine ask. 1. We are back in the league (I know, I know) 2. We have a bright young manager that is performing miracles on a much smaller budget than his predecessors (probably going back to late 80's) 3. We have a good fan base the envy of most teams in leagues 1 & 2 (even if they are a bunch of moaning fudgers) 4. The football this season (apart from a couple of games) has in the main be great to watch 5. We still have a chance of the UWE stadium (whether it be plan A, B or Z) 6. No red on shirts (good kits this season) 7. We have some great fixtures coming up that I am really looking forward to (Plymouth, Pompey, midweek break in Hartlepool, and Wycombe twice in a week) 8. There are changes in the board room (which people have been wanting and what ever your thoughts about Sexstone - its a change) 9. We have some good youngsters 10. We are not sh1theads

This is actually one of the best posts I've read in ages, which is kind of worrying in itself!

As most know had a year n 1/2 ish of hell and the ffs and forum got us through ,things have got a tad better in real life, but still a long way to go. If it wasn't for the forum and my ramblings on mental health, me and wendy wouldn't have a member on here visit us on a sunday giving support and helping us deal with our heads etc. If it wasnt for him and people on here we would still be totally of our heads maybe im the odd one out but this forum, it's members past and present will always be magical with us
