Have you read his tweet which followed that one? I haven't not on twitter. What did it say Tops? I looked at James Mc's account and the post after the one re "no deal" states that there is a problem with the host of his blog. Unless I missed something (I am not very au fait with Twitter but do have an account), that is all he has posted since. |

Clear as mud as usual. The only good thing about this rumour is that we all know for sure (given the sources) that something is going on. To be honest I don't expect the local hacks to have info that doesn't involve the playing side. Any possible takeover is always very likely to be a clandestine operation so let's sit back and enjoy the show. Good point today that could have been more, as they say, appy days!

I don't use Twitter, but someone has posted on Facebook that GD has now confirmed that there is indeed a Consortium looking to buy the club and has urged the BOD to provide details.
Probably BS, but can anyone with Twitter confirm?
Edit: Just Googled it and he said he's aware of the rumours - a bit different to what was poste on FB (surprise, surprise).

The twitter posts came from the FFS leader, so I sense this is more than unfounded rumours this time? Why would we trust a consortium who choose to 'Leak' partial infornation rather than making a Public Statement? The more they remain 'secret' the more I worry.

So apparently there is a credible offer from a consortium but NH hasn't been taking it seriously hence the leakage from 'sources close to the deal'. Apparently they are getting frustrated by his attitude (bit like the rest of us?). NH will have to advise shareholders whats going on pretty quickly (he is obliged to). Will be interesting if he categorically deny what actually seems to be happening - he must have 1984 as his bedtime reading. We will indeed watch this space.
Good point yesterday. Couldn't make it to the game and Gasplayer kept cutting out, but sounds like we played OK.
