I'll always be honest when I post. And it appears my last post was a false dawn for which I apologise and did not mean to mislead. A deal is still on the table and a generous one at that but No news is expected for now. Again I say sorry for that. UTG JTS - an hour is a long time in the scheme of things, so what made you change your mind between your first post today and the above?

More importantly what does "for now" mean today/this week or until after the Appeal decision has been given?

If a deal has been done it is not with the consortium i know of and would probably mean either a new investor has been found or we are going into some sort of partnership with UWE and/or another party to fund the stadium build. I would think this means NH and the current board want to remain in control of BRFC and see it through - the question is will it be the best deal for the football clubs future? (not judging either way by the way) It would also mean that this scenario is the fabled "Plan B" which is ready for 'if' NH loses the impending court case, very interesting times coming up for our club thats for sure. both exciting and worrying at the same time. Lets hope any Permanent decisions are being made for the right reasons for the club and no other reason - UTG

This is what modern soddin football is about. Deals are being discussed which we have absolutely no soddin input, we have to find out scraps of bleedin info as it leaks out and we never really find out what the hell has been offered. And even if we did we have no bloody say whatsoever in it. And so a few individuals are now making decisions that will affect us forever. I soddin hope whats best for the gas comes before bleedin Ego's. good afternoon all.

Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool etc. I doubt that any of their supporters were consulted on their takeovers.

Exactly the bloody point i was making. I think it's a shame that supporters have no say.

Perhaps Lord Sugar would like to use his authority to move this sh**e to General Sport chat as well...?!
What has a picture of some long haired fat b'stard in underpants, surrounded by guns, got to do with the future of our Club?

So are we to expect another 10yrs of being kept in the dark with fibs and half truths and the same "success" on the pitch that we have seen over the same period? Brilliant. I Dam hate that I care about this so much.

If the eventual truth is revealed that NH rejected a bid which would fully fund the stadium and invest in the playing side (albeit at the the cost of his own position), in favour of a deal where he stays in charge and the club own a minority share of the stadium, I don't know how he could sleep at night.
Of course none of that may be the truth. But if it is.....
