Has nothing appears to have been announced about a deal surely this brings JTS' source into question, as it seems they are feeding him false info, or the club are keeping a deal they've agreed a secret whihc seems unlikely???

I didn't say the consortium had pulled out - i said it appears NH is looking at doing a deal elsewhere because people were suggesting a deal had been done. that doesn't mean the consortium has moved on, they are still there and looking to takeover still.

I believe now the CC is upon us they will re-assess their offer depending on the result. So in my opinion we are unlikely to hear anything for at least a few weeks and possibly more before it gets interesting (fully understand those who say same old then cause we know sod all now) but this was always going to be a patience game and the only good news is that at present we still have a chance of winning the CC and whatever happens we have a group of people (consortium - call it what you will) that are ready to invest substantially in our club and contrary to rumours it is my understanding they are still very serious about a possible takeover albeit sadly they appear to be very quiet publically. So i am still optimistic but i really can't see us finding out full details of the clubs fabled Plan B, A takeover bid, Other investors for weeks even if as predicted we are likely to get a quick decision from the Judge in the Sainsbury's debacle - UTG! |
