I understand from Twitter that a consortium has indeed approached the club with the intention of developing the UWE to its original 22,000 spec, and not only that, they are prepared to invest in the football side as well. I have said for a while that it's no good doing one without the other, and here it is. For obvious reasons I won't reveal the source, but I can assure you it is impeccable. This could be the beginning of a fantastic future, and it just needs the goodwill of our directors to ensure this happens. I do hope this is true, could be the beginning we have all hoped for, just need to get the small man in box 1 to agree to sale. Is this his plan B sale the club and get out hope it is because we have been stagnant for many years now and have been going nowhere with this board of directors. |

At least I've seen the original source of the info now, I'm still extremely sceptical. Time will tell, at least if it doesn't materialise then people will have forgotten about it in a week's time |

It's probably all over twitter that there's a rumour started on Gaschat! As you can't go"private" on twitter surely someboyd will have found the tweets by now? I'm calling BS on the twitter story if not the rumour itself. |
