Is there any news of an interview with Higgs or any other director ahead of today's game?

Read the latest from Bristol Rovers Chairman, Nick Higgs I would like to begin my notes by welcoming our new non executive director, Colin Sexstone, to Bristol Rovers. Colin brings with him a wealth of experience in the worlds of sport and finance and his role with us will be one of developing business and looking for new opportunities Colin is currently chairman of Team Bristol, an organisation set up by the city’s elected mayor to get more people involved in Sport and to bring more events to Bristol and he is also the owner of Sexstone Consulting. His previous roles include that of CEO at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and CEO and chairman at Bristol City. I am delighted to have someone of Colin’s stature join us and I am confident that his contribution will strengthen our operation. He is a successful businessman and has unrivalled contacts in areas which are relevant and exciting for our club. I am certain that all of Colin’s past experience in sporting organisations within Bristol will unlock many opportunities to progress the aims of the Club as we look to develop both on and off the field. Our last home game, against Accrington Stanley, didn’t quite go as planned as our visitors scored the only goal of the game to take all three points. It was a disappointing result, of course, but the important thing in football is that when setbacks occur you have to be able to bounce back. I thought we did that in style last Saturday down at Plymouth in a game that was a really good advert for League Two. Although the home side scored with only five minutes of normal time remaining, we hit back to equalise through Ellis Harrison’s last minute penalty and deservedly earned a point from a hugely entertaining game. In my notes this season I have often praised our supporters for the backing they have given Darrell and the team and that was the case again last Saturday, although the afternoon was marred for many of our travelling fans by some altercations that broke out in the away end. Irrespective of who was to blame for the problems that occurred, I’m afraid that we are, as a club, gaining an unwanted reputation as having a small, unruly, element amongst our supporters. Further incidents could result in penalties being imposed by The Football League and will almost certainly mean more expense for the club in terms of additional policing for home games which will increase ticket costs, both home and away, if those police costs become exorbitant. Everyone connected with the club appreciates the backing given to the team, so please don’t allow a small number of fans to ruin things for the majority. Our game against a Portsmouth side so far unbeaten in the league this season is one to relish. Our visitors have sold their allocation of tickets and we are expecting a large crowd and a great atmosphere, so let's sit back and enjoy a great game of football. Read more at www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/chairmans-report-2710894.aspx#hBl8MeazifoBLxcv.99------------ Still no denial. You could put an end to all the talk, Nick.

The consortium could well be bound be one of NH's infamous confidentiality agreements? If there's no consortium why doesn't NH put us all out of our misery by confirming there isn't one, if he apparently feels so highly about us?

Or NH could be held back by a confidentiality clause from the consortium ?

Or NH could be held back by a confidentiality clause from the consortium ? Think you'll find both parties will be held back from releasing finer details and for that we need to respect them - UTG

Right now neither side havent actually said or done a single thing to warrant any discussion at all.

All we have are a couple of riddles from Gasincider and Jon plus a short report from Vital and a Bristol Post report saying that an insider thinks that Higgs is angry. There is a distinct lack of substance to any of the rumours so until there is perhaps it's time to find something else to discuss.

Perhaps we will know more later on this afternoon. I'm sure Higgs will be dodging questions from supporters all afternoon.
