I am glad JTS had the balls to stick his head in the guillotine. Until NH makes an official statement directly, these rumours will not be put to bed. My own opinion is that maybe a deal has broken down which is leading to both party's playing a game of chess with each other. The fact that this thread is huge tells me people are desperate for news, and a positive outcome for the club. Lets pray positive news of any description is forthcoming in the next few weeks / months. UTG. I think this is an old rumour, and the players involved are still wanting to buy the club but Higgs does not want to do business with them?is it Wray, Samuelson I don't know, but I believe there is something in this, will we ever find out well it's up to the consortium to show their hand, however you have to be careful what you wish for, under Higgs we will never go into administration, and he is a fan. I do not understand why the consortium do not come out and say who they are, and what their plan is? Higgs needs to back Darrell now and strengthen the team ready for the New year and push for the play offs. You could be right NH does not want to sell. At this stage both party's are keeping their powder dry but cracks are appearing hence JTS informing us of a potential interest. Loose lips sink ships!

If the consortium genuinely are going to invest £40/50m buidling the UWE why would they then let us go into Admin? As far as never going into Admin under NH if he doesn't do something soon the wonga loan will ttake us ever closer to Admin? Nh clearly won't, or can't, back DC as surely he'd have brought in another player ,or two, if he had the funds?

Christ this thread has gone to far. OP obviously on a wind up! or has been fed some crap from a man down the pub. Either way we all know deep down it isn't true and some ones getting a thrill off giving fans false hope. With out reading back through 50 odd pages has anyone said who this source is? They seems to know more than our very own chairman. I gotta bleedin say i'm hooked like a young girl lookin forward to sodding Eastenders! I'm actually quite bloody impressed with some of the debating and sensible posts too seeing as it's gone on 60 soddin pages, and for what it's worth it's good to see some soddin debating of the board room for a change. The poor buggers on the pitch and in the dug out get everything thrown at them and have to put up with a soddin thousand opinions on their performances! Any board will tell you they are never outside criticism and everyones bleedin performances should be scrutinised for a bright soddin future, Remember sitting still apathetic gets you nowhere, the lads on the bleedin grass get criticised, blamed and moved on if they don't deliver and directors should be equally accountable unless of course they're perfect like me!

I think you are now suggesting it wasn't JTS' tweet which prompted your OP, if so, whose tweet were you referring to as I assume it's still on twitter for us all to still see? Read the original thread re Agombar Topper. I said there was a rumour at the ground..... That is still the same. I didn't claim a scoop or any such nonsense. I openly said I heard it at the Mem. Are we no longer allowed to state what we hear? I put it on here because I was scared it might have an element of truth to it. You only have to google it to find out for yourself. That's what I did. similarly the story about Mr Wray. If you forensically examine every utterance on here, you will go to your next life an unhappy man. With regard to the consortium, I cannot for obvious reasons get into details. I have done what I did for the best of reasons. I totally believe what has come my way. No, the relevant tweet has not been posted on here. I 100% believe this to be genuine! and I notice ITV tonight made no mention of the Higgs 'denial'. Presumably you will turn your microscope onto that now. You have every right to say you can't believe it, because you have suffered as have we all, years of disappointment. I will be as happy for you as for all gasheads when this comes out completely. Keep the faith. I still dont quite get this 'With regard to the consortium, I cannot for obvious reasons go into details'. I just cant see any obvious reasons, maybe im just being thick .

Anyone seen this? Bluebeard Bristol rovers ltd Reg 09206782 Registered in Birmingham.... Sorry if this is old news. One of the company Directors is Gerald (Jed) McCrory who was mentioned by Gasincider in a previous thread he started about a takeover bid involving Tony Agombar. Another Director is a Stephen Murrell Could this be the Birmingham based consortium, or a failed consortium attempt made last year? Or just a complete red herring.

"Swindon Reds 20 Ltd" it seems coming up with odd names around the club's real name is par for the course then? It seems McCrory & Murrell only joined as directors of Bluebeard in July 2015, so that company seems to have been active fairly recently www.duedil.com/company/09206782/bluebeard-bristol-rovers-ltd/peopleI doubt anybody would go to the trouble of setting up and also joining a Ltd company as a Director without some real intent of doing something with that company?

According to the records Murrall's appointment was terminated 11 August 2015. But also that Annual return filed at Companies House 28 September 2015 (Capital nominal sum only). So still live.

Been away for two weeks but enjoyed reading some of the posts, not had the time or inclination to read all of them.
Unless NH is a complete idiot without the true interests of BRFC, I am sure this will happen.
Looking forward to the BRSC AGM next week where I'm lead to believe that NH and others will be at the Q & A. I will ensure some searching questions are asked of NH, it's just a question of the wording as Nick is very adept at answering a question he was NOT asked.

I went on holiday BEFORE this thread started and have just popped in every couple of days but have NOT read every page and have no intention of wading through pages of messages.
