The whole story is a red herring. There is no consortium. Well there was a consortium and as the company name was changed from Bluebeard to Bluebeard Bristol Rovers less than 3 months ago, it looks like they are still around. If Higgs blanked them last year it would make sense for them to put it about that they have lots of money to invest in order to force him back into negotiations. A quick Google Search has revealed the following: beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09206782Based in Birmingham and one "Gerard McCrory" amongst directors. Make of that what you will. |

The club would need support if McCrory or Agombar etc were involved. I wouldn't touch them with a very long barge pole.

It's better now that we have something factual to talk about. The fact being that Jed McCrory is involved so a take over won't happen and the thread can be put to bed. but didn't the guys that released the info Say it would be good for the club? If Jed McCrory is involved it won't be good for the club will it. If anyone, a Gashead or ANY member of the BoD believe that Jed McClory would be good for BRFC, then that would be the last time you see me at the The Mem or UWE, if he was involved in any takeover/investment in BRFC.
Just my opinion from the facts that are in the public domain.
Must go now, more important things to deal with.
