If, and it's a big if, there is a consortium in talks to buy the club is NH really going to spend any of his money funding new players? It's a bit like spending money decorating your house whilst trying to sell it, it's not going to effect the value.
Alternatively there might be no consortium and we're so short of cash we can't afford anything better than we've got, if so, I'd rather know so at least fans no the score.
DC seems to have tried every formation at home 3-5-2, 4-1-2-1-2, 4-4-2 but still not found one which creates goals/wins games.

He has tried only 3-5-2 for what I would call a fair crack of the whip.He has tried two wingers in one game, didn't win and went back to 3-5-2. Its the same with the strikers,he keeps swopping them so we are never going to get a partnership. The only thing he hasn't tried this season other than for about 10 minutes is a big man up front. Its the same with individual players...give them a fair chance. Take Mounkana..do we really know what he is like? He had so few minutes other than the one chance and Montana is the same. Unbelievable that he dropped Lucas out of the squad saturday. if he had put Blissett in the squad in his place I could have just about understood it even if I disagreed with it. DC will never be proved wrong with his selection because he gives nothing time. Too many games now it is becoming clear in the first half hour that he has got it wrong. If we are going to lose a game lets at least lose it knowing we actually went out to win it!!

Big fan of DC however my patience is running thin now, can he not see our failings? we need two wingers, another progressive midfielder like Vitas, and a powerful striker. we will struggle until he gets some new players in, what we have got is a good nucleus to build on however the writing is on the wall, we do not create enough. does anyone think he can turn us around with our current squad? i don't like to be a doom n gloom merchant but this side is a bottom six finisher, not play off contenders. Agree with you 100% Pucklegas. The Chairman doesn't have the money to back his manager - two new long -term signings only since the end of last season says it all. It's a shame there isn't an appetite amongst supporters to form a Supporters' Trust which could Work (!?) with the club. However, trying to stay positive - look what Grimsby did over the summer - the supporters raised money themselves to sign players !! I agree we need 3 or 4 in the positions you say - what about the supporters coughing up 20 quid (or more) to finance this ?? 500 supporters x 20 = 10 grand, 1000 x 20 quid = 20 grand ! A relegation battle is looming and another relegation to the conference is inconceivable !!! Contact DC and/ or NH and ask the question/ press them !! UTG !

As for the scare mongering I feel your wide off the mark with how this seasons going to pan out and reading this forum most other people feel the same too.

WeAreTheGas, Of course we don't as we are rarely given this information though his twitter tweets would suggest he was not injured.

Given Blissett is our only big stiker and he's clearly deemed not good enough how can DC play a big man upfront unless he plays Parkes up there in McGhee type fashion? When Mounkana was here we were playing mainly 3-5-2 so he had to miss out, Montana's an odd one but I've not seen anything from him to suggest he's better than Gosling. As far as 3-5-2 on Saturday did any of us post on here DC should start with 4-4-2 if Leadbitter was fit? At least DC is prepared to change things around if his starting formation doesn't work, unlike JW before him. As a poster said earlier in the week do you seriously want DC sacked as that sems the only alternative if your not happy with his managment style?

Me being not happy with his Management style does not mean I want him sacked as I am one opinion and all I am doing is giving my view. As regards Blissett he may not be good enough as could be the case with quite a few but at least he should be given a chance to try to prove he is good enough. Could he have done any worse than Taylor when he came on Saturday? I think not and his size would have made him a completely different proposition for their Centre half anyway. Be heading off to hartlepool in an hour with every hope that DC and the team will get it right tonight. The problem is that our home form is making even one point away not really good enough.

[ Yep agree - I wonder if he is contacting DC / Higgs himself and asking them his questions / I doubt it myself
