Nicholls - 5. Sounds harsh but have to mark down for the mistake for the first. There was no danger and it could have cost us. Otherwise good handling and made a couple of good stops.
J. Clarke 7. Solid and managed to get forward a bit more than he had on Tuesday. Lockyer 6.5. Better on the ball, not as assured defensively as usual for me. Still a decent performance. McChrystal 7.5. He brings leadership and organisation to the back line that has been missing. Headed everything and didn't commit needless fouls. Brown 8. Composed, got forward well, great assist for Taylor goal. Looking stronger by the game.
Bodin 7.5. Did well and worked hard. Finished his chance well and it was his spark that got us back in front at the start of the second half. Mansell 7. We didn't control the midfield quite as well as we did at Hartlepool and Manse seemed a little too far from his man at times. Was unlucky not to open scoring before putting us ahead. Sinclair 7.5. Endless stamina, harried them from start to finish. Gosling 7.5. Moments of quality and went close from range once or twice.
Taylor 7.5. Good solid performance from Taylor who should reestablish himself in the side if he keeps it up. Easter 6.5. Not his best game but caused them problems. Committed a few needless fouls but was unlucky not to score.
Subs: Harrison 6 O. Clarke 6 Leadbitter n/a

Nicholls apart from one mistake played well 6
J. Clarke Good game 7 Lockyer Another good performance 7 McChrystal Solid 7 Brown Played well both defensively and attack 7.5
Bodin We need to sign him 7.5 Mansell Strong 7 Sinclair As usual 7 Gosling Disappeared for periods of the game. 6
Taylor One of his best games, pulled their defence all over the place off the ball 8 Easter Not as good as his last two games. Looked tired 6
Subs: Harrison Good pen 6.5 O. Clarke 6.5 Leadbitter not on long enough
Crowd Rovers were excellent, the shrimpers were quiet, deathly quiet Ref Thought he was pretty good 7 Morecambe Not a bad team on what must be a shoestring budget. They need to get another 1000 in there

Nicholls 6 error for 1st goal
J. Clarke 7 tidy but 2nd goal against came down his side Lockyer 8 Love this guy, solid as always and playing better with Macca beside him guiding him along - our next big money export McChrystal 7.5 captain fantastic is back Brown 8 Great crosses and especially for the goal
Bodin 7.5 tricky and has added a threat down the right hand side. came out in the second half and had a lot of the ball and scored his goal Mansell 7 worked hard and took his goal well but should have scored just before Sinclair 7 ran and ran and ran, got in some important tackles Gosling 7.5 two good games in a row - a consistent Gosling can be an asset. With Bodin on the other side the team looks to have a good balance to it - long may it continue
Taylor 7.5 The fans were chanting his name and singing about cups and cocks to him..... it spurred him on and for a few minutes upped his pace and work rate which culminated in his goal - so I feal we had a big part to play in that goal Easter 7 worked hard but things didn't always come off for him but beginning to show some of what we hoped he would bring to the team
Subs: Harrison 6.5 another good strike for the penalty (repeated his strike at Plymouth so may need to vary it next time) tried to get himself booked again but just avoided it O. Clarke 6 Gave away the penalty when he had come on to keep it tight Leadbitter 6 not on long to judge properly
Crowd Gasheads 10 brilliant vocal support and good effort. There were plenty there that were also there Tuesday night so many like me had traveled over 1000 miles this week. Morecambe 2 - barley noticed they were there. Ref 5 average Morecambe 5 I think 4-3 flattered them somewhat but better than Hartlepool the other night

Nicholls 5 at fault for 1st goal.
J. Clarke 5 struggled first 20 not his usual performance. Lockyer 6 solid but out of position for maybe a couple of goals. McChrystal 7 man mountain did the basics well ie heading and clearing the ball. Brown 6 consistent and assured.
Bodin 7 he gets us up the pitch and adds skill. Great goal and improving with every game. Mansell 7 great goal battled well. Sinclair 9 MOTM ran and ran and ran. He is worth 2 men. Was winning headers he had no right to win. Awesome! Gosling 7 got into clever pockets of space improving with every game.
Taylor 8 looked a threat, great goal and worked his socks off. Easter 7 linked up play well again worked his socks off.
Subs: Harrison 6 booked but put away pen well. O. Clarke 5 gave away pen but battled well. Leadbitter 5 did OK.
Crowd 10 sung all game. Great banter with Taylor. Ref 7 let play carry on at all times decent IMO Morecambe 6 good going forward but slow in defence.

Rickie lambert so people on here cannot like players now with out be a friend ,his family or what ever ,and if you look at ever body that goes on here they all have favours .take Sinclair he runs around all day but some time he does not produce any thing but a lot of time he gets a high score or do you think it's all his family ,friend ,work mate and any one who knows him lol. But more about the game did you go. I thought the back four all played well but sorry to say but Lockyer was a fault for a goal or may be two so I gave lower score. Jc did his job as did as did the rest of the back four .about me I being going to the games with my daughter son and when I was a young I us to be a defender so like to watch the defence .but y I have to explain my self to you I don't no so get of my case because this is forum is people they like the club to say what they like about the club and players and it does seam they you got f all to say so will score as I like just like every body else , and I will ask again did you got to the game I bet not bet your a arm chair supporter .....

I didn't go to the game no. Neither am I an a "armchair supporter" though thankyou very much. The only reason I asked is because of the amount of posts you mention him or are so defensive over him. What was the Rickie Lambert bit all about at the start of the post by the way?

Rickie lambert sorry about the arm chair ,but it hard to make comments about players when you did not go but if you look some said he played well and some say he was poor, that was great about football ever body as a say and I if he plays poor I will say so to . But for you to have a a cheap shot at saying I am family or friend is out of order so will leave it at that have a good day see you Tuesday

Just putting it out there people seem to be scoring the defence quite high considering we conceded 3 goals. I wasn't at the game so I'm not directly criticising anyones ratings but it's the first time we've conceded 3 in over a year so how can they all be worth 7+? I'm delighted with the result and looking at the extended highlights it seems a good team performence but I'm also sure that DC will be of the same opinion on Monday morning. We've won the game but let's have it 4-0 next time!

We've won the game but let's have it 4-0 next time! Nichols was at fault for the first and was marked down for it. Other than that the defence was very good. One mistake for a long ball which just went straight through us and a very very careless penalty giveaway from a midfielder. Three goals flattered Morecambe, 4-1 would have been a more fair reflection of the play in general.

We've won the game but let's have it 4-0 next time! Morecombe have scored a lot of goals this season but their 3 came from: Goalies error: a bad defensive error by the whole back 4 and midfield and a VERY soft penalty. Also at times we were under a lot of pressure and we dealt with it, hence the high scores

Thanks for the replies, seems that Morecombe got lucky then. Let's just keep the defence watertight next time!
