New idea people.
Anyone got any plastic bags under the kitchen sink? Well if we sell around 50,000,000 of them at 5p per bag we should be able to afford a new Stadium!

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34492276Of the £272m total transformation costs, £15m is being provided by West Ham, with £1m coming from UK Athletics. The stadium will have an initial 54,000 capacity and stage other events including rugby union matches and motorsport. The local borough of Newham is contributing £40m, and national government £25m, with the remainder coming from a variety of sources, including Olympic Park land sales.

Oh really?? Can anyone else? They are showing for me? I can't either, might be a mobile thing... Anyway, I've always thought the best way to redevelop the Mem would be to rotate the pitch...build a new 'East end' during the season (behind the current stand), demolish the current one during the last few weeks of the season/during the off season and rotate the pitch. That then gives you the whole next season to redevelop the south stand or north terrace, meaning at most one season with a three-sided ground.
