really enjoyed the game tonight,,,2 good sides and on the night we were better,,,2 great goals easter taylor bodin sinclair and leadbitter outstanding with good support from the others. matty taylor might just get 20 again this season? If the team (and indeed Matty) keep playing like they did tonight it might be 25-30...or it might be 10-12...as long as the team keeps winning, those of us who don't have a vendetta against him can see what he brings to the team all over the pitch and don't care how many he actually scores himself... the thing with matty is he dosnt let missed chances or poor games affect his outlook or performances which i like,,,hes one of a core of players who have made us fans smile again

Thoroughly enjoyed the game tonight. I will never know how we went in at half time 2-0 up though! Wycombe probably will feel hard done by to not have scored 3 or 4 there, they missed some absolute sitters. Second half though we created 4 or 5 clear cut opportunities and should've put that game. In all honesty it could've been 5-5! They hit the bar, missed a one on one, Nicholls made at least 2 good saves. Taylor missed a header from 2 yards, Easter had one saved, Bodin missed a one on one, Parkes did likewise and Montano put over the bar from 1 yard out. Real entertainment. Positives were going forward. Taylor and Easter are developing a real understanding and I think that was the best i've ever seen Taylor play. And Eater too. Taylor's first goal was sublime, the touch was out of this world. He brought down a long ball expertly to start the move for the second too. Bodin was outstanding, real creative threat and I thought Montano looked lively at times. I think there's a player there. Negatives (despite the clean sheet) was that we did look frail at the back at times. I thought Brown got exposed a lot and they were allowed to run at our defence far too much. I think lines has to pick up some blame there, Sinclair was outstanding but couldn't boss the midfield on his own. Communication seemed lacking at times but credit where it's due to Wycombe, they played some nice stuff. mcChrytal was class and Leadbitter solid. Montano defensively is a liability which is a worry though. I don't think Lines, Parkes or Montano did enough to dislodge Mansell, Lockyer or Gosling for Mansfield however. Leadbitter should start right back. Excellent test, great going forward, roll on the next round! I do feel we have a real shot at Wemberley this year. Repeat of 06/07?! i do agree with you but i reckon dc knew we only had one good defensive player in midfield tonight but gambled on trying it out anyway and thats why we were a bit open at times,,,i thought lines did ok tonight but hes got his work cut out trying to get in ahead of sinclair and mansell

He's got no right to start automatically, but against some teams (and playing in some formations) he will tear them apart. Against other opposition there are better fits for central midfield that will help us get a better result. Based on tonight's performance I would play him against Mansfield but I don't know their strengths and weaknesses, so I trust DC to pick the right players in the right formation.
