Nicholls 9 Outstanding. Calm, collected, caught everything, couple of very good saves.
Leadbitter - 7 His pace really helps him out. Very solid today without having the free roam to bomb forward as in previous games Parkes - 6 Looked slightly off the pace at times but did ok. Should be on the bench for Mansfield though McChrystal - 8 Pick of the defenders, good to have him back and at his best! Brown - 5 Had a better second half but was exposed first half too much and looked lost at times. Not helped by Montano ahead of him or Parkes next to him at times.
Bodin - 8 This guy is class Lines - 6 Not dominant enough but better set pieces and a great ball over the top for Taylor's first. We're weak when teams run at us though and it leaves the defence open Sinclair - 8 He was everywhere again. Standard Sinclair performance Montano - 6 Looked ok going forward at times, best i've seen from him but looked lost when trying to defend and/or disintersted in defending. Not sure he'll make it, not for his lack of attacking ability, but for his inability to help out his full back,
Taylor - 9.5 MotM for me. Best performance to date. Wonderful goal, started the move with an excellent touch for the second. Great movement, set up Bodin who should've scored, him and Easter caused problems all night Easter - 9 Similar to the above. Best performance to date. The understanding between these 2 guys is starting to come together now. Both drop deep and collect the ball and the link up play with Bodin/Montano/the full backs was superb. Harrison will struggle to dislodge these 2 I feel
Subs: O. Clarke - 6 Looked solid when he came on Blissett - 6 Looked like he really had a point to prove despite playing just 5 minutes. Harrassed well and came storming in for a header he nearly got on the end of. Not his biggest fan but he looked hungry to prove a point and I think we should give him a place on the bench as he could be a handful.
Crowd 8 - Considering a JPT game and the weather, thought we were good tonight. Quite loud in the second half, a complete rendition of Irene and a few funny chants to boot. Ref - 3 Terrible Wycombe - 7 Thought they looked good but weren't clinical enough. They have some real danger players and can see why they're at the top

Nicholls 7 looked a good keeper tonight Leadbitter 7 good game, defending and getting forward Parkes 7 best game so far for me,one amasing run second half nice one two on the edge of the box thought he was going to score McChrstal 7 good game no nonsence when needed Brown 7 becoming very consistant Bodin 8 some superb skill, put their fullback on his backside a couple of times with a lovely drop of the shoulder,if he would have scored his chance second half it would have topped off an excellent showing Lines 6.5 lovely pass for Taylors goal but felt his defending was a bit weak second half, better player in the opponents half imo Sinclair 8 the usual non stop running but good quality as well, better footballer than I gave him credit for Mantano 5 wasn't bad wasn't good but didn't seem as pacy as preseason Taylor 8 very good movement, good touch and linked up with his strike partner much better and scored a beauty Easter 8 same as above really
Subs Clarke 6 not on long but put in some good blocks to stop shots Bliss not on long enough
DC 7 had the team up for it,played good football and exploited the space on the flanks behind their wingbacks well
Crowd 6 good noise first half went a bit quiet second half
Ref 5 let a lot go at times other times blew up for next to nothing
Wycombe 6 thought they played well just can't shoot on target much, tonight anyway

Nicholls 8 I am (or was) a bit undecided in Nicholls but last night he looked the real deal Leadbitter 7 a good game, looks fitter than the Pompey game Parkes 7 his best game this season McChrystal 7.5 steady and reliable Brown 7 a good game in his proper left back role Bodin 8.5 M.o.M he gets better and better Lines 7 decent game, did little wrong Sinclair 8 action man covered every blade of grass Montano 7 adds balance to the team Taylor 8 his confidence is sky high and it shows Easter 7.5 showed quality, tired towards the end but getting fitter Subs: O. Clarke 6 didnt do much Blissett not on long enough Crowd 7 decent turn out Ref 6 missed plenty, barely average Wycombe 7.5 looked a good side

Nicholls 7 Assured performance. Decision making is my only criticism generally.
Leadbitter 7 think he will edge Clarke out for the right back spot. His positional play has improved 110% this season. Parkes 7 when is he going to score FFS. Never really troubled a little rusty. McChrystal 7 A leader on the pitch which we needed. Brown 7 Great link up play at times.
Bodin 8 Different gravy sign him up DC before its to late. Lines 7 Good assist for Taylors goal. Sinclair 8 Every blade of grass and seems to be improving his range of forward passing. Montano 6 Played ok needs game time.
Taylor 8 In form worked hard rounded off with a great finish. Easter 8.5 MOTM Great finish but his all round game and work rate is class.
Subs: O. Clarke 5 Blissett 5
Crowd 7 well entertained Ref 5 Let to many bad challenges by Wycombe go unpunished. Wycombe 7 Good going forward but defensively frail should have put 4 or 5 into them

How refreshing to see our attacking players score higher than our defensive players for a change.
