Im intereated in whether i'm correct on that point, it would be an unusual situation. 2. DC is bound to be in demand, he has a tough job here on a small budget. |

Don't know, but I would not think you are correct as Chris Lines signed a two year deal I believe at the beginning of this season. If Darrell Clarke moves on, then I am sure, as per usual, there will be loads of interested applicants. Suggest we settle back and deal with the issues of the day, minus the ******* bull**** about bogus consortium's. UTG |

Does anybody know if DC has a "small budget" or just smaller than the likes of JW/MM had in the past? What's the betting Newport's & Accrington's is far smaller than ours? |

20% less then last season which was 40%odd less then the last season in league 2

If true then it's 50% down or still around £1.5m compared to Newport's etc <£1m so is it's not small for Div 2 standard and is clearly not the reason why we seem incapable of beating anybody at the Mem?

DC made an error in being so loyal to last seasons squad IMO. The best managers are ruthless.
I'm not saying he isn't a good manager or that this season is a right off but I just think that there would have been better players available. Then again I'm normally wrong on DC so lets see.

To be fair, we have had wholesale changes before, with disasterous results so maybe a few changes at a time and gradual progresssion is the right way.
