When will football fans wake up and channel their Sky Sports subscriptions in to their own club!!!? £50 per month x 2,000 fans = £100,000 per month! I can't believe people still fork out £50. I just click on a stream and watch it on the TV via the laptop.

I remember going to Liverpool back in the Trumpton days and some snotty nosed little scally asking for 50p to look after the car. Was going to tell him to water off but had second thoughts for the sake of 50p. Got back to the car after the game and the Jag parked behind me had his windows put through - obviously he didn't think 50p was a good investment.

"yeh cahs alright mister". 4 pounds well spent!

Will donate a fiver later. Better than giving it to BetVictor on the weekend.

Good luck. I genuinely hope you survive. I won't however be contributing as, what little money I have would be better spent ensuring that my club doesn't find itself in the same situation (or for keeping aside for when we need do indeed find ourselves in the same situation in the not-so-distant future potentially). Good luck though.

Good Morning All Its with regret that I am posting for this reason on your fans forum. Northampton Town FC are at risk of going out of business in 2 weeks time. We face a winding up petition on the 16th November for an unpaid tax bill. We also find ourselves owing a massive 10Million pound loan to our local council which was taken out for stadium redevelopment, which has mysteriously gone missing in our property developing chairmans pockets David Cardoza. I personally have followed the cobblers across land and sea of the UK, visiting the majority of the 92 football league clubs. I ask in hope that you can help us with raising awareness to our cause with help growing publicity on social media. We have a twitter page saveourcobblers and are using the hashtags #SaveOurCobblers & #SaveNTFC Finally, I ask if you can all dig deep for as little or as much as you can. We have a fund raising page which is crowdfunding.justgiving.com/ntfctrust , we've set a target of £100,000 but unfortunately whats needed is substantially more! We are currently just over £13,500. Thank you for your time reading this, and we do hope to be still in existence come Christmas!! Thanks NTFC Supporters. Some really mean and unnecesary comments on this thread. The guy is a genuine supporter just like you or I and all he wants to do is try to save his club going from down the pan. It's not about how sh** a time you had at their ground or jjot etc. It's about helping fellow football supporters save the club they love as much as we love ours. Rant over.
