Hope he starts against Chesham, greenslade, broom and Preston should be given a chance aswell 9 days since our last game. We should select out strongest XI for The FA Cup. Let the youngsters & stiffs play in the JPT next Wednesday.

Here's a novel approach. Play the strongest team in every game! I'm not sure it really matters under DC since he rotates regularly anyway.

Hope he starts against Chesham, greenslade, broom and Preston should be given a chance aswell Surely all those 3 are out on loan with other clubs? Assuming Nicholls can't play then surely we need to give Mildenhall some game time, just in case he's ever needed in a league match?

Don't think he'll play a seriously under strength side in the FA Cup.
It's a game we simply have to win.
If we fail to beat Chesham it's going to make winning at home even harder than we're already finding it.
Lets not forget we got outplayed and beaten by Bath at the Mem last year.
Parkes, Lines, Ollie Clarke, and Montana might get a run out but I expect the more inexperienced youngsters like Lucas will probably be on the bench and come on when we're hopefully a goal or 2 in front.

Preston is back from loan at mangotsfield, the other two aren't on loan now either, I think it would be good to give them a chance because they are still good enough to beat Chesham and we can still build a strong team around them, it would be good if lyttle gets a chance at some point also because he's got serious potential. Lucas is quite capable in the conference so I can't see him being a problem against southern league opposition, it's the JPT, that we need to field a full strength side as it will be a very tough match away from home and chance to get to Wembley.

Chesham are only, I think, one divisions below Bath City so it's not going to be just a case of turning up. Plus none of our strikers or wingers are hardly on form at the Mem so why rest any of those? I'd start with a strong starting 11 and look to use the youngsters if we go 3-0 up, if we don't then it's just as well they didn't start in the first place?

I hope DC nurtures Lucas and phases him into the 1st team set-up. I've watched him over the last few years in the youth and Prof. Dev. teams and he could be a genuine CF, rather in the old school mould. Great attitude (gets knocked down and then back up again with no moaning), chases lost causes, has a physical presence and can use either foot. Not the fastest but has good positional sense. Don't expect a wunderkid (still only 19), but he has everything to be a solid dependable L1/L2 CF if allowed to develop. We've invested a lot of time in him, and at various times other clubs have sniffed around and enquired. It would be nice to hear: 'He's on of our own, he's one..................'
(Though he is Welsh!)
