Here's a novel approach. Play the strongest team in every game! I'm not sure it really matters under DC since he rotates regularly anyway. [br I thi k it does as he always states he plays to win every game / project

Half the people said play your best team and half say give fringe players a chance. I'm saying with DCs regular squad rotation he normally does both as well as trying to win.

Broom, Thomas and Malpass all cup tied.
I doubt Nichols is allowed to play (Wigan should have thoughts of making it to at least round 4 really). Preston never played in the cup for Mangoes so I think he might be on the bench with Mildy between the sticks.
I agree with others that Ollie Clarke, Montano, Parkes and Lines should start (maybe one of Greensalde or Lyttle) with other mix of experience and youngsters on the bench. 20 mins for Lucas and 5 mins for Preston (and / or Greenslade/Lyttle) if we are wining comfortably would be good for them

Unless it's for a penalty shoot out(!) I personally feel it's madness to start swapping goalies around during a competitive match and I can't see Preston learning a lot in 5 minutes game time anyway.

It really is pretty simple. Win the game. Forget about experimenting with youngsters as it really shows a lack of respect to Chesham. Chesham will be up for the game. No need to give them extra incentive by playing some kids. Get to the Third Round, and hopefully a plum tie. Then use the money from that in the Jan window to improve the team for a promotion push.
