Nicholls 6 not too much to do but was rooted to the spot for their goal
J. Clarke 6 did ok unnecessary booking McChrystal 7 could have scored when he charged into box to meet a great cross from Montano but tapped it wide unlucky with his booking Parkes 7 solid Brown 6.5 out jumped for their goal
Bodin 7 created a few bits and should have done better first half when met a cross at back post but hit the side netting - unlucky to see his strike disallowed. Lines 7 busy but wasteful with set pieces Sinclair 7 ran and ran and ran Gosling 6 early run at the keeper from the left that should have given us the lead
Taylor 6 Easter 6 both had good chances but did not quite happen for them
Subs: Montano 6.5 some good touches and crosses but not involved enough, he has more to give Lucas 6 not on for much time to judge but had 1 angled shot that the keeper saved easily at near post
Crowd good effort from gas numbers wise, Southend crowd did their best to create an atmosphere Ref 6 tough with our booking Southend 5 nothing special
