There were people shouting F off and god knows what else throughout it! Am I the only one who saw it? The decent Irish fans had to start booing or clapping to drown the noise out.

I thought it was Bosnians failing to observe, they still have a bit of ill feeling with the French over the Bosnian War do they not?
Would make more sense than the Irish feeling aggrieved over an effing handball or 'anti-Englishness' given the English have nothing to do with it.
Wrong either way, but I'd be surprised if it was the Irish.

Came over to England in his 20's to look for work, and was never out of work until he retired in his early 70's. Neither him, nor his family - who all still live in Dublin, are anti-English. I guess that your friend was not as lucky as me, but please don't judge everybody by his/herexperience. |

I've got a v. limited knowledge myself, but at points there was French intervention trying to protect certain areas. Some Bosnians are still aggrieved at the lack of protection provided during certain attacks, where a lot of Bosnians were killed. That's not gospel by the way, I might be wrong but that's my understanding. |
