Do threads need to be locked? It prevents educational debate. no of course they don't but a second look at my op and I realise I shouldn't have 'presumed' it was Irish voices I heard. A few of the sports journalists have Tweeted that it was the Bosnian fans who jeered. When that happens, it tends to be a natural reaction for decent folk to boo those who broke the silence. |

Apparently it was Bosnia fans shouting support for Kurdistan, I guess this thread needs locking/deleting before posters make right fools of themselves.

I watched the game and am sure it was Bosnia fans who disturbed the silence.I think some of the Irish booed the Bosnians.
