So the Premiership Clubs will play the French anthem ahead of the games on Saturday, and will liaise with local police over security and safety measures.
So don't the rest of the leagues supporters matter? You don't have to be a premiership supporter to feel disgust at what happened last Friday.

So my brother, where shall we strike next to avenge the one true god who no vision can see, but who can see all, and over whom no one is lord, but who is lord of all? We have struck at the infidel in New York and in London and his wrath was terrible, and now we have struck in the city of blasphemy itself, Paris, and woe unto all who oppose our righteous cause!
Well, matey, I was thinking Crawley against Bristol Rovers, what d'you reckon?

I think this is a Premier League initiative, and it's up to the Football League to follow suit. I don't think the PL and FL talk to each other much.

Surely Div 2 clubs had a minute silence as a mark of respect last week, having another this week seems a bit OTT?

Why do we need to do what they do this weekend when we've already done it at the last home game?

Think were be ok,prem clubs should be very careful and should've been way before all this I've always thought what's stopping those idiots going into old Trafford all dotted round the ground and killing thousands?? Then you got our stewards getting all excited about someone in ground puffing on a ecig, god knows what they would do if something serious happened

Yes we did ours against Carlisle. Quite right too, although I felt slightly disorientated during the Marseillaise... Not sure what Nelson would have said.
Never mind, it certainly seemed to move the visitors at Wembley and whatever shows solidarity against the murdering bastards is a good thing.

You'd be lucky to get enough to be 'dotted around the ground', on top of that there's the planning and initial outlay, also the fact that you can't bring in an open bottle of water let alone an ak47 and bomb

It is a bugger when you can't a ticket, isn't it?

Lots of grounds (even international) don't operate those searches, grateful the Stade De France team did! Frustrating at places like Woking last year but I suppose cases like that make it worth it.

A quick rub down by a security/steward man is standard at German grounds. They even have a quick look into any bag you are carrying. Just like an airport, you are not allowed to carry liquids into the ground. Last season I actually had some after shave confiscated when I went to watch Eintracht. The turnstiles are usually placed 100+ metres or so from the actual stadium. This can obviously vary from stadium to stadium, but that is generally how it works. I think this is pretty much standard at any modern ground in Europe.
