Afternoon all,
I hope you don't mind me posting this on here.
I did a charity quiz with a friend a while ago, raising money for St Peter's Hospice. We had an auction included on the night with one of the prizes being 2 tickets to a home league fixture of your choice for the gas, kindly donated by the club. The winning bidder has taken a very long time to decide he doesn't actually want them (very annoying), so I thought I would offer them out to auction on here.
2 tickets to any home league fixture, provided the game isn't all ticket. Offer valid for all terraced areas and the South Stand.
We have so far managed to raise over £1150 for St Peter's Hospice, all money raised from these tickets will go directly to the charity.
I am happy to deliver tickets to anyone that wishes to bid for them.
Cheers, UTG.

Admirable young man and well done on your good work! Sadly i don't partake watching football from a terrace as they don't allow brandy and hors d'oeuvres! But good luck and i hope you raise even more money for a fantastic cause

I don't actually work for St Peter's, I lost a family friend over the summer rather suddenly. His wife had been brilliantly cared for by St Peter's Hospice when she was unfortunately taken ill before she died some years ago and he was always a huge supporter of them for the way they cared for her in her final days. The friend and I decided to do the quiz to raise money for what is a great charity, in memory of our friend and his wife. As for the bloke who didn't pay for the tickets, I agree it is a joke! Whether you want them or not, it's raising money for charity. And we had to find out through one of his friends, ignored us for ages before we found out through his friend that he no longer wants them! The quiz was August 8th, the first day of the football season which shows how long we've been waiting. And he isn't the only one! £50 would be an incredible amount if you were willing to donate that, we would be very grateful!

How's it going to work mate. It will have to be the South Stand for me but I am not sure yet which match. I can pay by paypal if that's possible and will chuck in a bit extra so you can post the tickets to me.

By the way, how much was he supposed to be paying? £60 was the final bid on the night. He had a few on board but assured me he would pay, more fool me! Can I just clarify Peter pirate are you bidding 50 quid for the tickets as this would then be the winning bid? Whichever of you is having them, I basically have a sheet from the club on which you will have to fill in your name, address etc and the game you want to attend and post it to them, they will then post the tickets to you. I am happy to send the sheet with a stamped addressed envelope to you, so all you have to do is pick your match. I don't have PayPal or anything like that so would have to be a bank transfer or alternatively we could meet in person at some point.

No I haven't I will cover the £60. That's why I asked. Top man To be honest I had thought that the auction winner had paid up, but just didn't want the tickets, which is what most of us would have done. I have known a couple of people who have benefited from the hospice. It is a great charity.
