We started sh*t, their players went down more than Ron Jeremy and the sh*thead ref bought it.
Oh and the acne ridden, 16 year old linesman wasn't even keeping up with play to see their player drift 5 yards offside to score the first goal..

Having not been there I can only blame us for managing to concede 2 within a minute.

Most frustrating prt of the game was seeing the linesman still running back towards the byline when their players went off celebrating the goal. Outrageous incompetency and once the second went in that was gonna make the game difficult to get back into.
Kettle didn't let us down. Stopping the game every five minutes pulling players aside for a chat like it was a rugby match. id estimate he wasted approx 10 minutes of the game pulling people aside. Add another 5 minutes for flahavens time wasting.

For what it's worth. I rarely get to games and its two years since I saw. The gas play live. The change is huge. This game was weird. They had a massive first 15 mins, nothing spectacular but they took their chances. The first was a half chance and the second a sublime shot from a defensive error, a weak header from mc crystal but no real danger. And then they scored! After that the rest of the match was dominated by the Gas. Lovely interplay of passes, lines range was wonderful but he needs to get his boot in More. Montano was poor. Ellis livened things up. We need to try half. Chances. Overall we reminded me of Arsenal. Tippy tappy and trying to walk the ball in, to create the gilt edged opportunity. Crawley were average, but tried their luck. 2 ~ 1

Mental first twenty minutes and a bit clueless tactically and then what a transformation, we deserved more but alas a lack of penetration is the problem.
Approach play in second half was good but just couldn't hole the putts,
I'd like to see BB switch every now and again and go round the outside on his left foot down the left. But when he did that right in front of us we got the pen.
Last game I saw was Newport so on a bit of a downer at moment results wise.

Possible offside for the first goal and the second was a wonder finish BUT possession was gifted to tbe player by a very silly Macca header, we had chances and didn't score them so as far as I'm concerned we got what we deserved... Nothing

First twenty mins our defence was slow and not picking up their players in the box,McCrystal was getting done by Harrold and was all over the place,Clarke couldn't stop the crosses coming in and we were deservidly losing, the first was offside though. The second half was one way traffic because of them sitting deep and us improving, but can't recall their keeper making a save, again umpteen crosses but no centre forward to challenge for them, their centrebacks must have headaches they headed that many balls away. A bit to much tippy tappy passing jn front of their defence but next to none penetration.

Having seen the highlights ignore post #5....!! Parkesy playing him onside...just I reckon Parkes was ball watching and ignoring his man and Clarke backed off and didn't get close to his man. We have seen both of these happen more than once this season.

If you let two in within a minute during the first ten minutes of a game, then you are generally *******, and we were. I will be happy to stay in the league this season. Man up DC and start blaming yourself, stop complaining about the players, you brought most of the players to the club, and you set them all up to represent BRFC before ever game.

He was offside yesterday, and he's still offside today. But as someone else has posted, the linesman was still running into position when the Crawley players were celebrating. Shameful, an do brined with the inept Mr Kettle, it was a disaster waiting to happen.
That said we have a distinct lack of penetration up front.

Haven't a clue but agree with final sentence. We were in the tent side stand and Lines in particular was firing in some vicious curling, flat fast crosses that a big man up front would have made something of. missed their 2 goals as the train was late into Reading which meant we had to get later than planned connections. Ended up at the ground 15 mins in. So in fact, I saw The Gas win 1 - 0!

Last game I saw was Newport so on a bit of a downer at moment results wise. Think you've got it bad? My record this season reads: Reading - lost, West Brom - lost, Northampton - lost, Birmingham - lost, Orient - lost, Stanley - lost, Newport - lost, Chesham - lost! Crawley - lost. Thats 9 in a row, 4 of which we didn't score, starting to think I'm cursed! It's really frustrating cus I've seen us play some good football and we're in a strong position in the league with a game in hand, but it feels like we're having a terrible season I've got a good feeling about Stevenage on Tuesday, I'd take a scrappy 1-0 and a selfie with Teddy Sheringham! Come on Gas, put an end to my misery!
