Another absolutely diabolical and shambolic home performance. All that Stevenage needed to do to beat us was get 3 meaningful shots on target two of which flew past our hapless keeper and one he saved with his face! Is this chap really better than Mildenhall?
We huff and we puff. In fact Sinclair does loads of it and you can't fault his work rate but that's all he's showing us at the moment. We have a few players in the team that have a bit of technical ability but they are in the minority. Most of the team have not been worth paying the entrance money to watch this season.
We get big crowds for the level we play at yet there is little to show for it on the pitch. We are in urgent need of a board that will invest in this club in this team, even in this manager because all of the goodwill and increased support from the minor success we had last season has been well and truly flushed down the bog.
The attitude of the manager is great, the attitude of the team is mainly great but they simply aren't good enough to do very well at the pathetically low level this club now has to play at.
Bring on the end of Jan and the finality of our futile fight with Sainsburys so we can have a chance to move forwarrd and to even have dreams of possibly reaching the giddy heights of playing the likes of Fleetwood again!

Found that a bit strange, we're currently in a better position pretty much since relegation to league 2?

Being absolutely appallingly bad at this level before relegation doesn't mean it is good enough now. It wasn't good enough then, it's not good enough now. We catastrophically under achieved then we are massively under achieving now. The home performances this season have been as bad and as pathetic as any home performances ever including those in the relegation season.

Start of the season the vast majority say they will be happy with mid table this season.
We are mid table and people talk about needing major investment and it's a shambles.
Predictable.

As I have said above this seasons home performances are more pathetic and shambolic than they have been in any season ever, even worse than in our relegation to non league season. We are a knife edge away from being in big trouble again because it is plain to see that at least half the team are not good enough for this level , we have no strength in depth and we have a goalkeeper that can't save anything that is hit from outside the box. Investment needs to be made in this team if we want to even be competitive. It's not acceptable to be rolled over at home almost every time we play especially by the likes of Accrington Stanley, Newport County, Stevenage and Chesham bloody United or whatever they're called!

Assuming the playing budget is a fraction of what it was during Buckles, McGhee, and Wards run as managers I think we're doing well. We will safely finish mid table and to be fair, first season back, I would have accepted anything above relegation.

very frustrating tonight without a doubt but the original post is way over the top,,if we were yeovil i would agree but were in a decent position despite our poor home form. if anybody believes that anywhere but top 5 league one isnt acceptable as in our more recent heydays its probably best if they find something else to do for now at least

I don't think our home performances have been pathetic. Results have been but not the performance. Can you honestly say we deserve to lose as many home games as we have performance wise. Graydon and Atkins era was pathetic. We lost most weeks and played horrendously. We're a million miles away from them days.
