For me- Lines is too inconsistent to play in a two everyweek. But I do admit an on song lines tears into teams. Mansell is a real asset to tackling and adding a bit of steel. Sinclair plays too deep when with lines but has been our most consistent performer this season.
I truely believe that 4-5-1 is the formation most sorted to us. Taylor does well by himself and despite his size I trust him to win enough balls up top.
We need to get Billy and Paris 5 yards further up too
We should play:
GK
Leadbitter Lockyer Parkes Brown
Lines
Mansell Sinclair
Bodin. Cowan Hall
Taylor
Really feel another man in the centre would help prevent these 30 yard screamers going in. I also feel it gives us an options from the bench.

Yep agree about Lines Sinclair may be super human but he can't be in two places at once !
Also Time for Easter to move on in January

Hard to argue with that logic. 3-4-2 and 4-4-2 have both been played and we are incredibly inconsistent at home under these formations.

Pay him off with what though, another wonga loan? Well we wasted a month's wages on a League one winger who on last night's show was no better than what we have (which is pretty crap anyway)

Thought he set up our only goal? But are we actually paying him anything anyway?

We apparently had Dawson free for a month in the hope we'd take him for longer?

Hes short on match fitness but did well first half. One more assist than Montano has gotten all season too.

Anyway was going to say 451 isnt the answer IMO. And certainly not Lines in front the back 4.
Leadbitter at RB is a must. Clarke and Lockyer in the middle or MMc into the middle of defense again. Bring Ollie Clarke into the middle along side Lines. And the big question is, do we put Harrison up top with Taylor again and drop Easter? On the back of last night I would say so.
Its a tough one as I think we need a couple of players in Jan to freshen it up.

No need to change anything away from home. We have one of the best away records in the country and, although we lost on the weekend, we completely outplayed the opposition and on another day would have won by 5 clear goals.
At home we definitely do need to experiment however.

Carlisle and Barnet aside its been men against boys.

4-5-1 sounds like a good idea. Easter should move on in the summer but no point in paying him off. He's got something in his locker on a good day and will grab a couple of goals for us from the bench. I agree Mansell should come in to steel things up as there is a real lack of experience in the team. Montano, Gosling and Blisset need to be offloaded in January and a big man/goal poacher brought in on loan. Nicholls has some good qualities but also seems error prone so we might as well just play Mildenhall! Cowan-Hall looked good first half so hopefully will be a good signing for us. We're not far off being a good side, but the pattern of conceding cheap early goals and then spending the whole match fighting back needs to be addressed as teams have got us sussed out, especially at home! Stevenage were a poor side but we gifted them 3 points last night.

451 is pretty much what JW played. I know it was meant to be 4231 but as he never set out to press teams we ended up as a 451. Didn't exactly work out either.
For me the system isn't the problem, it's the personnel. We found a bit of form when Lines was dropped for Mansell and MM played alongside Lockyer. Not really sure why MM was dropped tbh as he hardly did much wrong on Saturday.
I also have no idea why Leadbitter hasn't started. James Clarke did well when we played 3 CBs but to me he isn't a full back.
Taylor and Harrison from the off is needed too on Saturday.

The one game we started luke a house on fire was Carlisle and we won it comfortably.
