Was Taylor's booking right? Looked like a dive from the South Stand. Looked like a dive from the Blackthorn too. Yep, right in front of us on uplands. Tom Daley would have been happy with it, although did look like some contact and he didn't appeal. So harsh! |

It was a dive,should have gone down when being pulled back when through on goal first half if he is going to do it,but rather he didn't do it at all

Great win today what a second half performance well done Gas great comeback. And another goal for Matty T eh well done Taylor determined as ever when things weren't going his way. Bloke I was stood next to second half must have been T-Bone, was seething about chances Taylor missed last season even after he'd just scored the winner. " if he could finish we would have won the league last year blah blah " Jesus some people eh ! We are going up ! We are going up !! Mattys main sail is in the cup we are going up !!! Deffo not me. Shame that Agent Cotterill cocked it up today in our masterplan to play the sheeds next year.
He's supposed to win a few to avoid the sack, but not against relegation rivals.

I thought Cowan Hall couldn't put a foot right today. But he must have talent and he's young, so better may come... and we won anyway. Yeah he was useless. Was quite impressed with how patient the crowd were with him though. The teds would have been spitting on him within 10 minutes. Yeah they were on the whole. Although I heard some daft sod in the blackthorn say "that's what happen when you run at players Rovers" ten minutes into the game (0-0 at that stage). It does feel like some are just waiting for us to f**k up because they can shout and have a moan. |

Horrible game,horrible conditions which helped their game,far to much lump it first half,but what a sweet three points. I thought Taylor was the best footballer on the pitch,having to battle giants for balls in the air and got the all important winner with some lovely chest control and finish. First look at Gaffney today and was a bit disappointed myself,still can't really judge on one game.UTG Wow. Gaffney wasn't as good as his past couple of games but was still decent IMO. He creates so much space for Taylor and players around him. We've been looking for someone like him for ages and at last we have our man. He fits in perfectly into our team IMO. When people were saying target man, I didn't want the typical static bully prototype as such, our team is better than that general long ball rubbish I wanted someone who is an aerial present, creates space and is mobile. Gaffney has all those in abundance. stereotype? |
