This is great for morale, ok a few defensive mistakes by all accounts, but pre-season confidence for our attacking players...Priceless. Every forward needs a goal to settle their nerves and bring that bit of confidence that comes with scoring goals. I think this will benefit the lads enormously. Hopefully some smiling faces on the way home from supporters and players alike.
Well done everyone, today is a definite positive.
Kick on now.

Saw the game today. If we play like that all season PK is gonna be busy reviving the fans never mind the players.
Great entertainment, and no doubt Gloucs would not have got the first two past Mildenhall. Sad to see the keeper beaten at the near post twice. He looked nervous throughout for some reason.
With several players missing it was important to get goals. We achieved that in abundance.
DC you must sign Higgins before someone else spots him. Also Turley to tighten us up at the back. Must get a big sod up front coz not convinced by Brunt albeit it was his first real appearance. Yeovil was to short to make a fair assessment. Not to mention a possible two attacking midfielders. Not convinced with today's formation although we were missing several key players.

We have had good pre seasons that have led to bad seasons and bad pre seasons that have led to good seasons. Im very pleased we have started scoring but wont take much notice of these kind of games.
Four players need next week so we can start the season with a bang

Glad I went today as it was a very entertaining way to spend a summer Saturday afternoon. It was great to see some goals and see them spread around (although the PA wanted to give them all to Matty Taylor!!!)
The only major disappointment in the end was (as others have said) conceding the first to goals at the near post - I would have been very upset had they gone past Milders
Roll on next Friday...............

Just in case people don't know, our keeper today, Kieran Preston is only 17 years old !

Preston is only young so it doesn't concern me at all, but Mildy would have saved the first two easily in my honest opinion.

Hang on. Everything was pretty good but we won 4-3 against frickin Glocester! I don't get it. gloucester city are 1 division below us so if we played there in the cup and won 4-3 we would be happy,if west brom won 4-3 at say middlesborough in the cup that would be a good result? would it not?
