Puddy 5 nothing much to do
Leadbitter 6 caused them problems when given the ball
Clarke 6 defended well
Lockyer 6 as above
Parkes 7 defended well and brought the ball out from the back,long passing not so great
Brown 7 solid and scored but wish he would take on the fullback sometimes
Mansell 8 non stop work and used the ball well
Sinclair 7 usual non stop action,missed him when he went off
O Clarke 5 made some tackles and good effort but poor passing
Gaffney 5 struggled against their big centreback,but the goal will do him good
Taylor 6 not a lot of service but two assists and some lovely passes
Subs Mildenhall 6 one good save and one dodgey punch but for his first appearance did fine
Gosling 4 didn't do a lot
Bodin 5 not at his best but when he blocked Taylor's shot it fell lovely for him to score
Ref 4 seemed to favour them second half
Crowd 6 bit quiet at times like the game,but great ending

My view;
Puddy 6 - Better than I remembered, only one dodgy kick, though not much to do
Leadbitter 7 - hasnt he got skinny legs!? - fell over a lot initially but then made a real difference i thought
Clarke 6.5 - Half a Point extra as he was one of the three that looked to the Gasheads as they came out of the Tunnel (Him, Browne & Taylor)
Lockyer 6 - OK but not at his best
Parkes 6 - another not at his best, some odd passing at times
Brown 7.5 - Not his best performance but a great goal & was involved in everything
Mansell 7.5 - another player who we should be pleased to have on board
Sinclair 7 - Duracell Bunny, hope the injury isnt too bad
O Clarke 5 - Didnt make any real impact, was OK but poor passing on occasion
Gaffney 7 - I thibk he hasnt clicked yet, but he makes a real difference. His goal was met with much love by all the Gasheads & the Team, well deserved
Taylor 7.5 - Didnt score, but despite his 14 goals, I dont think thats the best thing he brings. really intelligent skillful footballer, works hard too
Subs Mildenhall 6 one great save, distribution not as good as Puddy, did better than I thought for someone who has seen virtually NO practice game time (thats reserved for Puddy as ex Salisburu Clique?)
Gosling 5 - didnt notice he was playing until quite late, though got better as D&R Tired
Bodin 6 - Took a while to warm up when he came on, but was growing into the game, great goal
Ref 4 - poor, Homer, though he could have given them a Pen for shirt pulling & didnt so maybe not the devil incarnate..
Crowd 7 - Good Christmas Crowd, great singing at times, love theGaffney Song & the carols, but at times very very quiet. I was in the 'Silent Night' Left side i admit!

Puddy 6 assured not a lot to do.
Leadbitter 5 not his best game.
J. Clarke 7 defended well.
Lockyer 7 give this man a 3 year contract!
Parkes 8 MOTM solid back to his best, no nonsense!
Brown 7.5 great goal and very assured defending.
O. Clarke 7 played well always in the game.
Mansell 7.5 Good performance from the captain.
Sinclair 7 usual performance.
Taylor 6 tried on another day probably would have scored.
Gaffney 6.5 not his day before the goal. Kept going and took goal well.
Subs: Gosling 5 ok but nothing special.
Mildenhall 6.5 a great save at a crucial time in match.
Bodin 6.5 great impact with goal.
Crowd 7 Love the Gaffney song.
