Don't think we will sell maybe if we don't go up in the summer we might, hope gaffney wants to come here for good players do have a lot of power these days even if the club doesn't want to sell Dc knows what we need and like what he says no point getting players that won't improve the side

Cambridge are only 4pts behind us, why would they let us keep Gaffney? Possibly clutching at a straw here - but perhaps if he is really surplus to requirements, in that they have enough quality strikers in their view, then the freeing up of his wages (assuming we are paying a big chunk of them) could allow them to strengthen elsewhere where they have a weakness.
They could also perhaps see us as aiding their efforts by taking points of other teams in and around the play off zone (OK, that is really clutching at straws)
I'm sure they will have a 24hr recall and then they have nothing to lose I suppose. If it came to pass we were both in the Play offs come the end of the season, then he wouldn't be available to us then I'm sure.

You don't think he left Taylor out because he's likely off in Jan?

It is quite possible Gaffney doesn't want go back there/play for them again - that might be the key factor in what happens, it seems likely he will be enjoying his time with us, so that's in our favour if we want to retain his services permanently.

I wonder if the shoe was on the other foot and say Harrison had gone to Cambridge and they'd then won 4, drawn 2 and gone from mid table to top 7 then we'd be happy to say him sign for them? Think we'd take some convincing it was a good move for the player/club?

If we've apparently made 3 offers for players as Taylor's future already been decided, as I doubt other clubs are sat about waiting for the 1 January?

I doubt with what's going on with Nicholas in the courts that we have any money to buy or add additional players without others leaving. If as people say and Gaffney is surplus at Cambridge then perhaps we can keep him on loan but seriously cannot see us spending money or increasing players budget without a player going.

Have we got any players we could sell that would make our team stronger? The good players we got we need to keep, the ones that we don't won't to keep won't buy us f all He (mr Higgs) needs to put his hands in his pockets and give the loyal supporters something to get excited about,9800 today for a l2 game and we got no money? If we were challenging all season we would get that every game Give dc some money and I'm sure he won't buy any tossers you can see it with every player on the pitch they give 100% for the man

I get rotation for most players but usually it doesn't apply to top goalscorers and keepers.

I don't know if we could replace his goals, maybe. What we couldn't replace is the rest of his game which is the real beauty of Taylor - hold up play, playing the midfield/strikers in, spotting the Hollywood pass and hustling.
