Why have Barnet insisted we buy tickets on line via their web site and now withdrawn the option of buying standing tickets behind the goal in the North terrace This afternoon you could buy seated tickets in the West stand and standing tickets Now it's only seated on line What's going on Barnet !

Don't wanna be one of these people that moans but...
I understand Barnet FC are a business.
But this is sneaky imo.
West stand (seating) - £23
North terrace - £17
Barnet are only selling the pricier tickets in the west stand.
Clubs with a sizeable following get both. Both have about 800 capacity for away fans.
Most clubs sell the terrace tickets first and have a few hundred tickets available for those who wish to sit.
Barnet appear to be doing the opposite and selling the more expensive tickets first, which at £23 is a joke for league 2.
Give me the terrace any day, and at £6 cheaper, they get the following they are so desperate to cash in on. But then we haven't had clarification on whether it is all ticket or if terrace tickets will be available.
Just tried to have a browse at the online ticket thing and it already crashed on me.
In perspective, this is a lousy moan. But Barnet irk me.

Looks like Portsmouth reported Barnet to the Football League and they forced them to sell send 500 tickets to the club to satisfy priority groups and also give them the full 1.200 allocation.
Perhaps email the Football League, I doubt Rovers or Barnet ticket office will be arsed about the supporters

You would have thought that a club with their low average gate would welcome the money the bigger clubs can bring in. Seems to me they are trying to put people off unless they think we are all idiots who will pay inflated prices.

This is some kind of joke on Barnets side trying to keep our away support down ! They can buy seated tickets in the same seated stand for £11 if they go to 3 matches our price £23 but they have withdrawn today the option of buying cheaper standing tickets Portsmouth had the same problem !

If you scroll further down the page, the North terrace will be available to Plymouth on March 1st, will Plymouth seriously take more than us? The distance is almost twice of that we will be travelling. Now wondering what to do, having two options, book ticket online and be guaranteed getting in, or travel with no ticket hoping they open the terrace if the stand fills up.

I managed to get 3 tickets on the North Terrace yesterday before they closed it. Seems a strange tactic for a club that obviously struggles with attendance anyway.

Hi all, I've moaned about this to the club but no joy.
Just want to clarify a few bits based on what has happened so far this season.
The away seated area holds 890, the terrace can hold 1000. However the Club are unlikely to allow more than 800 into the terrace area
Home fans can't get into this game for £11, it was an offer solely £33 for the three games leading up to Xmas.
Plymouth will be subjected to the same issue you are having with the terrace tickets taken off sale a week or two before the fixture. With them previously being available since the start of the season. If the away support is less than the seating availability then those with terrace tickets are given seats instead.
Portsmouth didn't report Barnet to the FA. When the tickets went on sale in August\ September it was noticed by some of their fans who posted it on their forum. This led to a rush as normally Pompey operate a priority ticket system for season ticket holders and other fans rarely get a look in. This was quickly changed with some tickets passed to Portsmouth for sale so they could offer a priority system.
Anyway, as I said I don't like it and the main reason for it appears to be to cover the cost of some support not following the club to the Hive. If I was you I would wait until the Friday before the game to see if the terrace becomes available. The tickets are emailed to you and can be printed at home or just shown to the scanner from a smartphone so there is no need to book early to allow for postage and the only issue will be if you have more than 1700 pay in advance.

After the Wimbledon Debacle (& I still remember Woking although I was inside then), I've just gone ahead & got my tickets, whilst anoyyed at seating & price. I reckon we could still sell out that 850, particularly if we beat Luton! #UTG

(as it will then need to be stewarded, cleaned, food, toilet, etc) given that we had over 1,000 at LO earlier in the season, and recently 800+ at wimbledon (with some locked out / not travelling due to low capacity), it seems clear around 1,000 gas will go.

Yep, exactly that. If Barnet can avoid opening the terrace then it will.
Part of it is probably down to the delays in the ongoing building of the stadium. The away terrace was meant to be replaced with a seated stand the same as the West stand last summer but it's now not happening until this summer.

I have today written to Barnet and copied Bristol Rovers Sometimes football clubs don't deserve fans like ours This situation re our away allocation and pay on the day is a farce Our average away support is more than the seated area they have given us Ticketing should be clear not when we have filled up the £23 seats we will start selling the cheaper £16 standing tickets Regarding steward costs if you make it pay on the day you havntngot a clue how many will turn up It's about time clubs talked into each other and treated the travelling fan with respect Barnet get that North terrace open UTG
