Read this expecting Cuthbert Elbow to be our new signing! Me too! Cuthbert Elbow what a great name for a footballer, I would have him for the name alone.

Surely if the ref saw the elbow then it's a straight red, not a yellow. Although when do we ever beat 10 men anyway?

I think what swayed the ref to only give a yellow is the reputation Taylor has got of going to ground too easily

If that was the case then why not book Taylor for simulation?! Looking at the Gasplayer highlights Taylor does seem to make a meal out of it TBH, although it does look a clear elbow. Surely if the ref say it has an elbow it's a red regardless of whether Taylor made more out of it, surely you don't get a yellow as you failed to make decent contact??

Elbow goes in, Taylor falls to ground (a bit dramatically, as is his way) then cuthbert jumps for ball. I was stood near dug out and was a better angle than camera and that is what we saw. Red card or nothing, not a yellow. Luckily it didn't matter, else we'd be wanting to debate and analyse it for ages!
