According to that McNamara bloke in the Bristol Post, Mattteee T was man of the match on Saturday. Now I know I aint Taylors biggest fan, but what the feck is that bloke on?There were at least 10 better Rovers players on that pitch the other day than Sir Missalot.

MOTM on Saturday could have been drawn out of a hat for all I cared. They were all fantastic.

Taylor didn't force the keep into making one save from memory? The only thing is note I can recall is the back heel for Mansel's shot.
Taylor hasn't done a great deal by his standards in the last 3 games, Easter must be pushing him for a start on Saturday.

He didn't deserve MOTM but why did you feel the need to start a thread over this?

I thought he played some good link up play and was a good decoy for Rory and I'd give him a 6 but man of the match must be a mistake. I agree with you he was average compared to his usual very good performances

I think it would be a good move, whenever he's been benched in the past he's always gone on a great run straight after.

If anyone from Cambridge is reading ......
Matty clearly MOM, Gaffney would look average in a team without Matty :-)
In all seriousness, team game .... and Rovers are playing well as a team at the moment.

TBH Easter was a bit unlucky to be dropped on Saturday.

Ollie Clarke was my MOM on Saturday. Good tackling, calm on the ball, good forward passing and unlucky to have a goal chalked off.

I thought Taylor was outstanding on Saturday, I hadn't been to a game for a while, but his movement, touch, vision far surpassed his abilities from last season. The Stewart coaching clearly paying off.

Mine too but not if he sure if he actuallly was the best or performed far superior to the standard I usually expect from him. That's a fair point. He was his usual tough tacking self but He looked a different player in possession spraying passes around the pitch with a calm confidence we haven't really seen from him before.
