Just popped in and got mine, only 60 tickets left! City would have sold an extra 3,000 imaginary tickets by now though. |

Wouldn't be too suprised if we're sent another 500 or so. hope so as it's sad not to let everyone who wants to go to go, especially with 5 days to go before the match. BUT I suspect Oxford Utd are under pressure from various socurces (their own fans & maybe Police), not to give more and let us create an even better atmosphere. I doubt Oxs will sell out; bit of supporter fatigue could be creeping in with so many big cup matches for them. On the flip side they'll probably have a few more casual fans after their cup upset against Swansea. Someone pointed out that Portsmouth were given a larger allocation that us, I don't know whether Rovers turned that down or what but we'd sell out another, let's say 300 tickets in a flash! |

If the demand is there then Rovers Should be asking oxford for the remaining 800 seats that make up the 3,000 away allocation.

I'm planning on getting tickets in the morning, hope there's some left! With the lack of pub options near the ground I wonder if it's worth getting an earlier train, having a couple pints in town and then getting a bus/taxi to the ground? Anyone know a decent pub in Oxford city centre? ring the club office and reserve your ticket if there are only 60 left as per above text they wont be available in the morning |

I did put a reason I merged because it was confusing having 2 threads one saying we had sold all tickets and another saying we had been given more tickets

I can't find a figure for this season but I believe they had just shy of 3000 season ticket holders last season. Should they release the remaining away capacity we could end up with nearly 50% of the crowd for two consecutive away games. Excellent support from the travelling Rovers fans again.
