The thin white Duke has paseed away at 69 years of age. Bowie was one of The Greats. Still remember bunking school to queue for tickets to see him in Bristol, on the Alladin Sane tour. Sad news

Would love to have seen him live.
An actual genius has passed today rather than the shallow pretenders of today.
Sad news.
RIP

Am I allowed to say that I didn't like his music? I think he is another who was massively over-rated.

Very very sad news. The man was a legend and regardless of whether you like his music or not he has had a monumental effect on British culture. Chances are even people who don't like him will be fans of artists who themselves were inspired by Bowie. May he Rest In Peace.

Incredibly sad news.Bowie was a true legend to so many people.
One of my favourite tracks from the Hunky dory album was Queen Bitch with the late great mick Ronson on Guitar.Bowie had a massive influence on other bands and Part of the lyrics of this song was later used on the Killers track " Mr Brightside". R.I.P.

Leaving Mick Woodmansey as the last remaining member of Ziggy and the Spiders.

Am I allowed to say that I didn't like his music? I think he is another who was massively over-rated. Had a few people today on social media saying the same thing....my reply to them is basically love, hate or don't care about his music, you can't deny he could bang out a tune...and since he was proficient in many genres (and created many others) there's a lot of great tunes to choose from....

Was very sad to here this news, he sung the theme tune to one of my favourite TV programs, "Life On Mars".
It was a very good song and TV show overall.

Someone told me about this scene off big brother where his wife has just found out about his death and tells another house mate to keep it quiet. Quite funny tbh...
