I know lots of us donated to this brave lads dream of walking and it was great to see rivalries put aside for a great cause. Hope young Oskar and his family have a great night tonight as he actually gets to lead the teams out at Ashton Gate under his own steam.

Good luck Oskar. A very brave and determined young man. Does make me wonder if he would have been so well received if he wore Blue & White on the other side of the river though?

Not really relevant is it. He isn't blue and white, our fans have been great, just take it as the positive that it is. Regardless, at least 95% (probably more) of both fanbases are decent people who understand that a child suffering a serious illness transcends football rivalry. Thank God.

Disappointing that Itv local news forgot to mention that fans from both clubs helped with fund raising, our own Alex Lovell from the Beeb mentioned it though.
Good luck young lad

It's great that Oskar is such a committed fan of a BRISTOL team. No glory hunter there! I've met him and a more positive and lively lad it would be hard to meet. The operation has not corrected everything, and was never expected to; but Oskar can now take steps and is not totally reliant upon his wheelchairs. There's no doubt that he'll have a great evening, and perhaps a win for City (just this once!) would be the well-deserved icing on the cake for him.

I hope they win tonight for him (but lose every other game after).

Rubbish, they're sheeds, not animals. I seem to remember they paid for one of our lot to go to wembley who got injured in afghanistan. I'd be worried if I was a Preston fan, the footballing Gods will almost certainly make this a City win.

Things like this bring a tear to my eye, his plight is far more important than our rivalry......
