I think we can still lift the League 2 trophy! So I want a Cobblers victory. We'll be only 9 points behind the leaders with 20 games left. Tonight: Muff vs Cobblers

Or still only 6 pts behind 2nd place if Plymuff win, probably a draw is the best outcome in any event? Although if we don't sign a decent striker this month I'd take a top 7 finish.

I see Nichols is on the bench for Wigan tonight as ODonnell has been loaned out to City. That probably puts the seal on him not returning to us anytime soon.

A draw would be best I think - a point is lost to the overall system. Both teams having a player or two sent off for violent conduct resulting in 3 match bans would be good too.

At this stage of the season, I would say that, when any two teams that are above us in the league play each other, the best result is a draw. In effect, both teams lose two potential points and of the three points that are available, only two of them are awarded.
However, at this stage of the season, I also think that the most important factor in our drive for promotion is our own form and our own ability to pick up points from the games that we play. It is still in our own hands - UTG

I only really look at other scores in the run in ( last 4 or 5 games). Last season being the exception because Barnet were always top and we new we had to catch them for automatic. This season 3 go up so if Plymouth start to drop points then you can br sure there'll be other sides in form catching them and as long as one of those is us I don't care who else is.

Blows the title race wide open! Although I'd take a play-off place right now!

If the result stays as it then there's now a 9 pts gap to 2nd and we know last season with Barnet how difficult it is closing a big gap, Saturday's game is now looking a crucial one for us as if we lose to Oxford there'll be a 8 pts gap, with Oxford and Northampton both also having games in hand.
