Whilst we can all laugh and revel at this display from our neighbours' manager, I'm embarrassed for football. This is exactly the sort of thing that gives the whole of football in this country a bad name. The worst thing about this is a young lad is stood right in front of him! SC will be disappointed with himself this morning, and I don't see how SL has any choice but to sack him now. If I acted like that at work, I know my number would be up. Thing is IMO' that not only has he tarnished that club but on another angle he embarrasses Bristol Football as a whole! Other supporters see the Teds for what they truly are but' do they see both our clubs in the same light? As much as I want that foul mouthed knuckle dragger to stay I can actually see him going, if not today but after their next defeat. Just my thoughts on this..... |

I totally concur.
With DC acted like that I would want him gone however we DO have a manager who is full of honesty, integrity, has discipline and is gracious in defeat.....

At lest he's got sum fire in is bellly. Not like SoD who was like a church moose. my zychologist calls it aggreseive passive or summat. i'ts just banterz. BTW - funniest thing was that it was half time! it was 0-0. apparently the fan was asking why they weren't passing the ball. And players were giving abuse to the people who paid their money to watch them (and admittedly sometimes berate them). happy days indeed. |

happy days indeed. I never saw that it was at half time!  That said, I have a Ted friend, he is a season ticket holder. He left at half time when they played Reading at Trashton. I just can't get my head around their fans' mentality.... Talk about thinking you have a god given right.... |

I think I can guess the general consensus that will come back from this but, which would you prefer:
We don't get promoted and City get relegated or we get promoted and City don't get relegated.I get almost as much pleasure from them losing as I do from us winning. How sad is that from a fifty seven year old. I went to bed happy last night just because they lost and the fact that it was at home and a late on winner made it even better. |
