So whose decision was it?He is the manager and he could have vetoed the deal especially as Lucas is also on loan.Sounds like a cop out, But Ellis wont be back ,I hear it is a seasons loan with no recall,so not only isn't he available for the rest of the season but as he is out of contract can walk away with no compensation for the club because they have deemed him surplus to requirements Also as he's under 24 I'm pretty sure we will get a fee for him. Only if we offer him a new contract on better terms that his current one.

Just done a bit of stattoing. Matty Taylor has a league record of 1 goal every 132 mins this season. Ellis one every 212 mins. This includes 3 penalties for Ellis and just one for Taylor. Taylor out scored Harrison this year and last so no, its not true. It's trolling bollocks. Games played/ chances finished? Or are you Sir talking bollox? You Troll

Yep, Taylor needs more chances to score than Harrison. Agreed. Luckily he creates so many for himself with his energy, work rate and positioning. Which is why he got picked more. If Harrison worked as hard as Taylor did he'd be a fantastic player. But he doesn't. Which is why Taylor scored more goals than Harrison this season and last. site true couldn't put it better myself, wat about the 4/5 chances harrison missed v barnet To be fair only one was a miss the rest were just half chances.

Better than him staying and sulking about not getting game time. He wants to play elsewhere for more time then fair enough. Others in the squad are happy to wait their chance etc. To be fair he would be a loss but he should have the chance to progress. Currently he wouldn't get in my team every week based on what I've seen. Sorry. DC said they have a good relationship and there's no hard feelings. You said about sulking. Nobody else. Also, how do we know others are happy to wait their time? To the statto above...have we ever had a striker who is so deadly off of the bench? Those stats must be fantastic for Ellis.

Just like gaffney should never have been allowed out on loan?? In all honesty I have never liked the loan market,i think clubs should recruit in the off season and live or die by those decisions, clubs like Yeovil have used the loan market to gain unfair advantages, same as Leicester did a few years ago when the borrowed 2 strikers from Arsenal and subsequently they scored the goals to get promotion. FIFA are actually trying to outlaw the loan market and the only country to appeal against it is...England Not true, theyre trying to outlaw the emergency loan system.

Not if he is deemed surplus to requirements, which is what will happen withEllis Padstow, assuming you are correct in that he will be gone until the end of the season. I would think we have two options: a) If Ellis doesn't perform at Hartlepool and we deem him surplus to requirements we let him go. Wages saved from now on. b) If Ellis does do well and is obviously "hot property", we can choose to offer him a contract at the end of the season, I guess we need to offer a little bit more salary, but doubt if we need to offer a new three year contract. Hopefully he would accept it, but if he declines it because he has better offers then we get compensation as he is under 24

He wouldnt want to go if he was playing regularly. Clarke wasted his finishing talents for half a season last term at the expense of his mate Matttee T. And has done the same again. He is our most natural goalscorer. have u ever watched rovers? Regularly since 1964. How about you Mr Questionmaster?

DC appeared to say that he engineered the move to Hartlepool with the suggestion that the eight games he could play in may benefit us.
The games available are:-
A - Accrington, A - Cambridge, H - Exeter, A - Notts Co, H - Stevenage, H - Yeovil, H - Notts Co and A - Luton.
